Antiquariaat Tanchelmus is an online and by appointment only antiquarian bookstore.
Prices are net and free of VAT (margin scheme). Shipping/packing costs are not included. We charge shipping costs at the rates of the Belgian Postal Services. In our order confirmation we state the actual costs tailored to the order’s weight and size.
Payment must be made before delivery. As payment methods we accept international bank transfer or payment by credit card through PayPal.
International bank transfer can be made to bank account on name of Walter Van den Bergh with IBAN code: BE49 7390 1944 5871 and BIC or SWIFT code: KREDBEBB.
For Paypal payments, e-mail address to be used is walter.vandenbergh@tanchelmus.be .
Cheques are not accepted due to high bank transaction fees.
Goods remain property of vendor until full payment has been received; if payment has not been received within three weeks after our confirmation has been sent, the order can be considered as cancelled.
Books are in good condition, unless otherwise mentioned (minor defects such as a stamp, a name on the first page, minimal wear and tear etc. are not specified, unless specifically requested).

Terms of return:
Any purchase can be returned within 7 calendar days upon receipt ; please notify us first by e-mail for return instructions.
The returned goods must arrive at the address of the seller in the same condition as they were sent to the customer. The seller will then refund the purchase cost (excl. shipping/packing costs, excl. return postage).
If the return is the result of an inadequate description we will refund also initial shipping costs + return postage.
Verkoopvoorwaarden
Antiquariaat Tanchelmus verkoopt enkel online of op afspraak.
Prijzen zijn netto en vrij van BTW (margeregeling). Verzend- en verpakkingskosten zijn niet inbegrepen.
Onze verzendkosten worden berekend volgens de Belgische Post-tarieven. In onze bestelbevestiging vermelden we de exacte kosten gebaseerd op gewicht en formaat van het order.
Wij vragen voorafbetaling voor de levering. We aanvaarden betaling via (internationale) bankoverschrijving ofwel via kredietkaart d.m.v. Paypal.
Internationale bankoverschrijving dient te gebeuren naar volgende bankgegevens op naam van Walter Van den Bergh: IBAN-code BE49 7390 1944 5871 en BIC- of SWIFT-code KREDBEBB. (Nationale overschrijving naar bankrekeningnummer 220-0786579-42 op naam van Walter Van den Bergh).
Betalingen via Paypal dienen naar volgend e-mail-adres te gebeuren: walter.vandenbergh@tanchelmus.be .
Cheques worden niet aanvaard omwille van de hoge bankkosten.
Bestelde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper tot de volledige betaling ontvangen is ; indien de betaling niet ontvangen werd binnen drie weken nadat onze bestelbevestiging verstuurd werd, kan het order als tenietgedaan beschouwd worden.
Onze boeken zijn in goede staat tenzij anders vermeld (kleine gebreken zoals een stempel, naam op voorblad, minimale slijtage enz., worden niet vermeld, tenzij op aanvraag).
U kan ons per e-mail bereiken voor bijkomende vragen/inlichtingen.
Retourvoorwaarden:
Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 kalenderdagen na ontvangst worden teruggestuurd aan de verkoper ; gelieve vooraf per e-mail met ons contact te nemen voor retour-instructies.
De teruggestuurde goederen dienen op het adres van de verkoper worden afgeleverd in dezelfde staat zoals ze aan de koper verstuurd waren. De verkoper zal dan het aankoopbedrag terugstorten (excl. initiële verzendkosten en excl. retourporto).
Als de retourzending het gevolg is van een ontoereikende beschrijving, zullen we ook de initiële verzendkosten + retourporto terugstorten.
Conditions de Vente
Antiquariaat Tanchelmus vend des livres anciens sur internet et sur rendez-vous.
Les prix affichés sont nets et exempts de TVA (système de la marge). Les frais d’envoi/d’emballage ne sont pas compris. Nous appliquons les tarifs de la Poste belge. Les frais exacts sont communiqués dans notre confirmation de commande, selon le poids et format du paquet.
La livraison n’interviendra qu’après le paiement. Le paiement peut s’effectuer par virement bancaire (international) ou bien par carte de crédit avec Paypal.
Pour un virement bancaire international, veuillez verser le montant au compte bancaire au nom de Walter Van den Bergh avec code IBAN : BE49 7390 1944 5871 et code BIC ou SWIFT: KREDBEBB. (Virement bancaire national au compte 220-0786579-42 au nom de Walter Van den Bergh).

Nous n’acceptons pas de chèques à cause des frais bancaires élevés.
Les biens restent la propriété du vendeur tant que le paiement intégral n’a pas été effectué ; si le paiement intégral n’est pas reçu trois semaines après notre confirmation de commande, la commande peut être considérée comme annulée.
Les livres sont en bon état, sauf indication contraire (des petits défauts comme un tampon, un nom à la première page, usure minimale, etc. ne sont pas spécifiés mais peuvent être obtenu sur demande explicite).

Conditions de retour:
Chaque achat peut être retourné au vendeur dans un délai de 7 jours de calendrier après la réception ; d’avance, veuillez nous contacter concernant les instructions de retour.
Les marchandises retournés doivent arriver à l’adresse du vendeur dans l’état qu’ils étaient envoyé par le vendeur. Dans ce cas, le vendeur remboursera le prix d’achat (excl. les frais d’envoi aller et retour).
Si le retour est le résultat d’une description incomplète, nous rembourserons aussi les frais d’envoi aller et retour.

Books are sent by the most economical method unless otherwise requested (usually airmail to Europe / Economy air to the rest of the World).
All books are in very good condition unless otherwise stated.
All books remain our property until payment is received in full.
Pre-payment is usually required.

2. Cheques in GBP drawn on a UK bank.
3. International Money Orders in GBP

Any book found to be incomplete or defective, unless so described, may be returned if we are notified within 14 days of receipt. Please inform us before returning books.
