Edition not stated, but perhaps a First Greek edition, though in English (but for a Dedication in Greek at book's end). A fine and accessible reader in ancient Greece and ancient history up to just-post W.W.I.I. The author had an interesting career but died tragically by drowning just after marrying Elizabeth Boleman-Herring, his body being found having washed upon the shores of Salonika. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. it has suffered since classical times. I've done my best to state clearly and truthfully the condition of each and every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers, get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. Most orders will ship within one to two business days, but often times, they will go out on the same day as they are ordered. I've based my shipping costs on the assumption of books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized (extra thick, extra long, etc.), I may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Bubble mailers and boxes will be expertly and securely wrapped and monitored. Please contact us if there is anything extra or different you need us to do.

Eleazar Swalmius (Rhoon, 1582 - Amsterdam, 1652) was een bekend Nederlands contra-remonstrantse predikant en theoloog. Vermoedelijk kende Swalmius\' familie Rembrandt goed, aangezien een broer van de predikant, Carel, getuige was bij het opstellen van Rembrandt en Saskia van Uylenburghs testament. De prent is ingelijst in een bewerkte zwarte lijst, zowel de prent als de lijst zijn in zeer goede staat. De totale afmeting inclusief lijst is 42 x 36 cm. de prent zelf is 30,5 x 24,5 cm..

4. Books must be paid in advance. Institutions, libraries, and known customers can pay by invoice.
5. Payments can be made by bank transfer or by Paypal.
6. The ownwer of the delivered books is the seller, until the books are fully paid.
7. The risk of shipping of the ordered books is for the seller. The seller has the privilege to assurance the shipped books. This costs will be accounted to the buyer.
8. Each purchase can be returned within 7 days after reception, without proper stated reason. The seller highly appriciates an acknowlegdement of this before by email. The price of the books (without the shipping and insurance corsts) will be paid back in 30 days.
9. If the return is a cause of an incomplete description, all the shipping and insurance costs will be paid back. The returned books must receive the seller in the same condition as they are send. The risk of the return shipments are for the sender.

Alle prijzen zijn inclusief 6% BTW. Als u een BTW nummer hebt, laat dat ons weten op het moment dat u een order verstuurd.
Verzendkosten bank- en chequekosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend. U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email.
4. Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan eventueel met met factuur worden geleverd.
5. Betaling kan geschieden via bank- of giro-overschrijving of via Paypal.
6. Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden.
7. Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper.
8. Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (excl.verzendkosten). Terugbetaling dient te geschieden binnen 30 dagen.
