Full leather with banded spine with six panels, simple blind decoration. Covers are rubbed and front joint is split but held by cords. Spine ends are worn. End -papers (previously pasted down but now free) are from some previously printed Latin work. Previous owner's stamp (1763?) on obverse of blank front free end-paper, title-page is darkened and a little ragged on leading edge (also next page) and has previous owner's name, Edw. (Edward) Chamberlain. Internal binding sound. Pages are clean and bright but with light ripple. Early hand written annotations in black ink from 1300 date in table becoming more prolific from 1560 onwards [2], [2]. One volume of the 1-volume set. No dust jacket, as published.
