Shipping is charged extra at cost and the amount will vary according to the destination, the shipping method and the weight of the books ordered. Please advise us how you would prefer your books shipped at the time of ordering. If ordering from within the UK the cost is likely to be about GBP5.50, and books will usually arrive in 1-3 working days.
If ordering from Europe airmail will be about GBP12.00 - airmail will usually arrive in 3-7 days.
If ordering from North America, or anywhere outside Europe, airmail is likely to cost about GBP18.00 - airmail generally takes about a week, but customs may cause delays.
If you would like to know the exact postage charge, please contact us, and we will let you know before processing your order.
Books are sent by the next available postal collection following receipt of payment. We send mail most week days.
Card payments can be accepted by Visa, MasterCard,AmEx & Maestro. Paypal transfers are accepted to our registered e-mail address (which is books@aucott.co.uk). If you wish to pay by bank transfer please contact us for details.
We also accept payment by Sterling cheques and Sterling International Money Orders (made payable to 'Aucott & Thomas'), or by Euro notes, and US or Australian dollar bills. Non Sterling cheques are not accepted.
All books are published in London, except where stated. Customers are invited to contact us if they would like more information about a particular book - photographs are available for all our books. We always try to be accurate. If an error in description is made, we will refund the full price but please contact us before returning the book.

We accept foreign cheques in all currencies, and international money orders (the latter in US or Canadian dollars), and interac e-transfers within Canada. Credit cards accepted through PayPal.

Please reserve by telephone or email before sending payment.

Postal charges vary considerably by weight and destination, and are quoted *at cost*; there are no extra "handling" fees.

Books are returnable for refund if not as described and postmarked for return mail within 14 days of receipt.

All books are returnable if the customer is dissatisfied within ten days of purchase. All items are offered subject to prior sale. Payment by PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, or money order or check. Payment with order except for those customers known to us. Libraries and institutions invoiced with shipment. All shipments within the U.S. are made by UPS Ground or USPS. Shipping charges: By USPS media mail, $4 for the first book, $1 for each additional book. By UPS, $7.00 for the first book; $2.00 for each additional book. Larger, heavier items may result in additional shipping charges. Maryland residents must add 5% sales tax. For customers outside of the U.S., shipment will be made only via insured surface or insured airmail, unless the customer specifically requests an uninsured method (i.e., global priority) and specifically assumes all risks for lost shipments. Andere informatie:
Verzending binnen Nederland kost 3,50 euro voor een brievenbuspakje en 6 euro voor een pakketzending.
Verzenden naar een buitenlands adres is geen probleem. Wij verzenden voor € 6,- naar België en voor € 8,50 naar Duitsland. Voor overige bestemmingen zijn de verzendkosten variabel en zullen wij u eerst informeren.

Bestellingen worden na ontvangst van betaling dezelfde dag of de eerstvolgende dag verstuurd. In alle gevallen wordt u op de hoogte gehouden d.m.v. een verzend-update inclusief track en trace code. De boeken worden netjes ingepakt zodat ze in dezelfde staat als besteld worden bezorgd. We versturen op alle doordeweekse dagen.
