Shipping is charged extra at cost and the amount will vary according to the destination, the shipping method and the weight of the books ordered. Please advise us how you would prefer your books shipped at the time of ordering. If ordering from within the UK the cost is likely to be about GBP5.50, and books will usually arrive in 1-3 working days.
If ordering from Europe airmail will be about GBP12.00 - airmail will usually arrive in 3-7 days.
If ordering from North America, or anywhere outside Europe, airmail is likely to cost about GBP18.00 - airmail generally takes about a week, but customs may cause delays.
If you would like to know the exact postage charge, please contact us, and we will let you know before processing your order.
Books are sent by the next available postal collection following receipt of payment. We send mail most week days.
Card payments can be accepted by Visa, MasterCard,AmEx & Maestro. Paypal transfers are accepted to our registered e-mail address (which is books@aucott.co.uk). If you wish to pay by bank transfer please contact us for details.
We also accept payment by Sterling cheques and Sterling International Money Orders (made payable to 'Aucott & Thomas'), or by Euro notes, and US or Australian dollar bills. Non Sterling cheques are not accepted.
All books are published in London, except where stated. Customers are invited to contact us if they would like more information about a particular book - photographs are available for all our books. All books are complete and the condition of the book will be indicated as follows:
Fine = as new
Very good = no significant flaws
Good = small flaws (e.g.: slight damage to cover, name on title page, faded colors, yellowish pages, etc.)
Reasonable = clearly read and used copy (e.g.: heavy folds, underlining, creases, etc.)
If a book has the qualification 'reasonable' the flaws will always be described. For the qualification 'good' a description will be given if necessary.
Names on title pages will not be mentioned. If a book has the qualification 'fine' it will of course not have names or ex libris in it.

If the measures of the book are mentioned it will always be hight first and then width (in centimeters). Oblong for example will not be mentioned separately.

Prices are net and in euro's. Postage and bank- or check transfer costs will be charged at cost price. Before finalizing the order you will first receive an e-mail stating the total costs of the transaction.

Books will be delivered at payment in advance. For companies, libraries and regular customers separate arrangements can be made.

Payment can be arranged by giro-transfer.

Books delivered will remain the property of the seller until full payment has been received.

Sending of the ordered books is for the risk of the seller. Seller has the right to insure goods or to send them by registered mail. The sub sequential costs will be charged to the account of the buyer after consulting the buyer.

Each purchase can be returned to the seller within 14 days after reception, without explanation (an e-mail to notify the seller would be appreciated however), after which the billed amount (excluding postage costs) will be restituted to the buyer. If the buyer returns the goods to the seller because the description of the books is not conform the actual condition of the goods then the billed amount including the postage costs will be restituted to the buyer. Returned goods should be received by the seller in the same condition as when sent to the buyer. The risk of returning goods is for the account of the sender.


Verkoopvoorwaarden

Alle boeken zijn compleet en de conditie van het boek wordt als volgt aan geduid:
Gaaf = als nieuw
Zeer goed = geen noemenswaardige gebreken
Goed = lichte gebreken zoals: minimale leesvouwen, lichte beschadiging omslag, verkleuring, etc.)
Redelijk = duidelijk gelezen en gebruikt exemplaar (vouwen, onderstreping, schuingelezen, ezelsoren, etc.)
Als een boek de kwalificatie ‘redelijk’ heeft gekregen wordt altijd vermeld wat dan het gebrek is en bij de kwalificatie ‘goed’ wordt een omschrijving gegeven als dit nodig is.
Namen op schutblad worden niet vermeld. Bij een gaaf boek staat er vanzelfsprekend geen naam op het schutblad.

Als er maten genoemd worden dan altijd eerst de hoogte van het boek en dan de breedte. Oblong formaten worden dus niet apart vermeld.

Prijzen zijn netto en in euro. Porto en bank- en chequekosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend. U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email.

Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan eventueel op rekening worden geleverd.

Betaling kan geschieden via giro-overschrijving.

Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden.

Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden na overleg doorberekend aan de koper.

Elke aankoop kan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt. Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten en retourporto terugbetaald. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.

Fair: showing definite signs of wear and tear.
Reading copy: It's all there and it's legible, but that's about all we guarantee.
DJ: dust jacket (if it's not mentioned there isn't one).

- Each order will be confirmed with specification of costs.
- Books are in octavo size, complete, and in very good or better condition, unless otherwise noted. Pictures (if not already available) can be provided on request.
- Prices are in € (euro).
- Payment can be made via Paypal or by international bank transaction (IBAN/BIC). Paypal or bank details will be given after ordering.
- Shipping. Orders not exceeding 3 kg or 6.5 lbs are sent by registered priority mail: Europe EUR 11.00, outside Europe EUR 20.00 (U.S.A. EUR 37.50). Orders above 3 kg or 6.5 lbs are sent by registered parcel post via priority mail. Indien via Internet wordt besteld, volgt een bevestiging per email met opgave van de verzendkosten. Tarieven volgens PostNL (brievenbuspost EUR 4,60 pakketten dikker dan 3,2 cm of zwaarder dan 3 kg EUR 8,00). GEEN PORTOKOSTEN VOOR BESTELLINGEN BOVEN EUR 100,00.
- Bestelde boeken worden binnen enkele dagen opgestuurd. Betaling per (meegestuurde) acceptgiro, voor grotere bestellingen in overleg voor nieuwe klanten (vooruitbetaling op onze bankrekening of via Paypal). Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van Charbo's Antiquariaat totdat volledige betaling is ontvangen.

3. Offer and conclusion of contract
(1) The offerings of Buchantiquariat Clerc Fremin in the internet represent a non-binding invitation to the customer to order goods online.
(2) Submission of an order by the customer for the merchandise requested shall constitute a binding offer for concluding a purchase contract.
(3) The agreement is concluded through acceptance of the offer by antiquariat-kunsthandel Antiqua Global Art KG with submission of the order confirmation, the invoice or the goods with the applicable GTCs, the cancellation policy and the request for payment within 48 hours, otherwise the offer is considered to have been rejected.

4. General Rights of Return
The place of fulfillment is the company's headquarter in 04416 Markkleeberg, Germany, therefore the following returning policy is based on German legislation:
Every customer has the right to return the goods within 14 days after purchase, without specifying any reasons, by sending back the product to the seller.
The period of 14 days shall commence upon receipt of this notification in writing (e.g. letter, fax or e-mail), however, not before the item is received by the recipient (in case of repeat shippings of similar items not before receipt of the first partial shipping) and also not before fulfillment of our liabilities of information according to article 246 § 2 in connection with § 1 subparagraph 1 and 2 EGBGB, as well as our duties according to §312e subparagraph 1 sentence 1 BGB in connection with article 246 § 3 EGBGB. 5. Return consequences
In the case of a valid return the services received by both parties must be returned and any benefits (e.g. benefits of use) must be released. In the case of deterioration of the goods, compensation of the value of the goods may be demanded. This will not apply where the deterioration of the goods was caused exclusively by their inspection as would have been possible in the store for example. In other respects, the customer may avoid the damage compensation duty for deterioration caused by use of the item in accordance with its purpose by not using the item as his property and refraining from everything impairing its value. Obligations for the refund of payments must be fulfilled within 10 days. The deadline for the customer will commence upon the sending of the goods or of the return request, for the Seller it will commence upon receipt.

Principles of returning
In all cases returned goods have to be verified by the customer with packaging number. The shipping costs we reimburse together with the purchase price. For goods with a value exceeding 500 €, the shipping has to be agreed with us. Please note, shipping by acting independently causes a restriction of insurance coverage and claims for compensation for us.
We`d like to point out explicitly the exclusion of the returning policy stated above, if the customer is responsible for damages or deterioration of the product, loss or other inadequate activities. All activities reducing the value or the suitability of the goods are prohibited.

Recommendation for return and cancellation of purchase
Please do not return goods unfree. If requested we can refund you the shipping costs also in advance, if you do not have to pay them by yourself. Please notify us about the return, indicating your invoice and customer number: If possible please attach delivery not or invoice (copy of invoice) to your return, this speeds up the handling, facilitates the assignment of a process and time consuming investigations can be avoided.

6. Retention of title
(1) For the consumer as end user: The supplied goods remain property of us until they are fully paid.
(2) For entrepreneurs: The supplied goods remain property of us until complete payment of all complete fulfilment of all obligations of the business relationship.

7. Prices and Payment
(1) Our prices include statutory VAT and other price components and will be indicated separately on the invoice.

8. Payment
(1) You can pay by PayPal, advance payment bank transfer , cash payment on pickup.

9. Warranty (; condition)
The warranty period for consumers shall amount 24 months from time of delivery, for businesses 12 months from time of delivery. Only for registered traders § 373 HGB (German Commercial Code) shall apply.
The purchaser shall purchase the item in accordance with the product description of this Online-Shop.
The items offered in our shop are used items whose signs of use and age give them their special character. For this reason, the actual condition of the item as shown and described in the online-shop shall be regarded as the agreed condition. If flaws, damage or defects to the items are listed in the shop description which no longer correspond with the usual condition of a used item, but which fundamentally affect the value of the item, the items will be purchased in accordance with the information in the product description and a warranty shall be excluded in this regard.
The product descriptions made in our shop do not represent a guarantee in accordance with paragraph 443 BGB (Civil Code). In particular, this applies to the description about completeness and condition, which always are statements of opinion and not statements of fact. This shall also apply for the purchase price, which does not constitute a binding appraisal of value. This shall also imply the exclusion of compensation for damages in any kind. The product description was made to the sellers best knowledge and belief.
In case of a defect, i.e. in the event of deviation from the contractually agreed condition of the item, and if documented written proof of the deficiency is presented within the warranty period, shall apply figure 6.
In addition, the statutory warranty regulations shall apply, i.e. the purchaser may also demand the reduction of the purchase price.
No liability is assumed for buyers profits loss or any other financial losses.

Die Erfüllung erteilter und angenommener Aufträge wird von dem Unternehmen im eigenen Namen und auf eigene Rechnung im Auftrag des jeweiligen Kunden durchgeführt.

2. Die nachfolgenden Geschäftsbedingungen gelten für die gesamte gegenwärtige und zukünftige Geschäftsbeziehung, auch wenn nicht ausdrücklich auf sie Bezug genommen wird. 2. Für Schadensersatz gleich aus welchem Rechtsgrund haftet das Unternehmen nur bei Vorsatz, grober Fahrlässigkeit und Fehlen einer zugesicherten Eigenschaft der verkauften Ware. Dies gilt auch für Erfüllungs- bzw. Verrichtungsgehilfen und gesetzliche Vertreter des Unternehmens.

3. In allen anderen Fällen haftet das Unternehmen nur dann, wenn wesentliche Vertragspflichten (Kardinalspflichten) verletzt sind. Dabei ist der Schadensersatz auf den typischerweise vorhersehbaren Schaden begrenzt. Ein Ausgleich von atypischen oder nicht vorhersehbaren Schäden findet nicht statt.

4. Das Unternehmen haftet nicht für die Aktualität, die inhaltliche Richtigkeit sowie für die Vollständigkeit und Richtigkeit der Informationen und Behauptungen, die in den durch sie verkauften Artikeln (insbesondere in Büchern) enthalten sein können. Das Unternehmen hat keinen Einfluss auf die Gestaltung und den Inhalt der Ware. Das Unternehmen distanziert sich ausdrücklich von allen fremden Inhalten, insbesondere auch dann, wenn es externe Informationen verlinkt hat. Dies gilt auch für alle auf anderen Homepages evtl. angezeigten Links und für alle Inhalte von Seiten, zu denen diese Links führen, sowie für Fremdeinträge in vom Unternehmen eingerichteten Gästebüchern, Diskussionsforen und Mailinglisten.

IV. Lieferung und Versand sowie Gefahrenübergang
1. Die Versandkosten für die Bestellungsauslieferung trägt der Kunde. Das Unternehmen bestimmt die jeweils geeignete Transportart und den Transportweg. Transportversicherungen werden nach eigenem Ermessen des Unternehmens bzw. auf ausdrückliche schriftliche Weisung des Kunden auf dessen Kosten geschlossen.

2. Ist der Kunde Verbraucher (jede natürliche Person, die ein Rechtsgeschäft zu einem Zwecke abschliesst, der weder ihrer gewerblichen noch ihrer selbständigen beruflichen Tätigkeit zugerechnet werden kann) und macht er von seinem gesetzlichen Widerrufsrecht Gebrauch, gelten die folgenden Regelungen:

Sie haben unabhängig vom Preis der gelieferten Ware die regelmäßigen Kosten der Rücksendung zu tragen, sofern die gelieferte Ware der bestellten entspricht.

3. Kauft der Kunde Ware in Ausübung oder zur Verwendung in Zusammenhang mit seiner freiberuflichen oder gewerblichen Tätigkeit, so geht die Gefahr des zufälligen Untergangs, des Verlusts oder der Verschlechterung der Ware mit ihrer Übergabe an die zur Ausführung der Versendung bestimmten Person auf den Kunden über.

4. Für Bestellungen über die Webseiten von www.ZVAB.com und abebooks.com und booklooker.de und ebay.de und antbo.de und buchfreund.de und www.Antikbuch24.de sowie www.AMAZON.de und weiterer länderspezifischer Verkaufswebseiten von Amazon gelten folgende Regelungen zur Lieferzeit: Lieferfrist wie online im Bestellvorgang angezeigt.

5. Für Bestellungen über alle anderen Anbieter gelten folgende Regelungen zur Lieferzeit: Lieferzeit für Lieferungen innerhalb Deutschlands: 1-9 Werktage. Lieferzeit in andere Mitgliedstaaten der EU zusätzlich maximal 12 Werktage, in Nicht-Mitgliedstaaten der EU zusätzlich maximal 31 Werktage.

6. Die Frist für die Lieferung beginnt bei Zahlung per Vorkasse am Tag nach Erteilung des Zahlungsauftrags an das überweisende Kreditinstitut bzw. bei anderen Zahlungsarten am Tag nach Vertragsschluss zu laufen und endet mit dem Ablauf des letzten Tages der Frist. Fällt der letzte Tag der Frist auf einen Sonntag oder einen am Lieferort staatlich anerkannten allgemeinen Feiertag, so tritt an die Stelle eines solchen Tages der nächste Werktag.

V. Eigentumsvorbehalt
1. Das Unternehmen behält sich das Eigentum an den gelieferten Waren bis zum Eingang aller Zahlungen aus der Geschäftsbeziehung mit dem Kunden vor.

2. Der Kunde ist bis zur Erlangung des vollwertigen Eigentums weder zur Weiterveräußerung noch zur Verarbeitung oder Vermischung der Ware berechtigt.

VI. Lieferstörungen und Annahmeverzug
1. Vom Unternehmen nicht zu vertretende Umstände und Ereignisse, die die Lieferung verhindern oder wesentlich erschweren, befreien dieses für die Dauer ihrer Auswirkungen von seiner Lieferpflicht. Dies gilt insbesondere bei staatlichen Eingriffen, wenn die Vorlieferer von der Lieferpflicht ganz oder teilweise entbunden oder die normalen Bezugs- bzw. Transportmöglichkeiten nicht mehr gegeben sind.

2. Kommt der Kunde mit der Abnahme der Ware in Verzug, ist das Unternehmen berechtigt, vom Vertrag zurückzutreten oder Schadenersatz zu verlangen. Nicht abgenommene Ware lagert auf Rechnung und Gefahr des Kunden.

VII. Pflichten des Kunden
1. Der Kunde ist verpflichtet, die Waren unverzüglich nach Erhalt auf Aussehen und Funktion zu prüfen und etwaige Abweichungen der erworbenen Waren von der durch das Unternehmen vorab zur Verfügung gestellten Zustandsbeschreibung binnen der Ihm gesetzlich zustehenden Rücktrittsfrist (Widerrufsrecht) dem Unternehmen anzuzeigen.

2. Der Kunde ist verpflichtet, Verpackungen, die ihm durch die Post, einen Paketdienst, eine Spedition usw. zugestellt werden, sofort bei ihrer Übergabe zu prüfen und etwaige Schäden an der Verpackung dem aushändigenden Zusteller gegenüber schriftlich anzuzeigen.
Unterbleibt diese Anzeige oder erfolgt sie nicht rechtzeitig, ist das Unternehmen berechtigt, eine Entschädigung wegen Wertminderung bzw. eine Ersatzlieferung abzulehnen.

VIII. Mängelgewährleistung
1. Der Kunde hat die Ware unverzüglich nach Empfang zu untersuchen. Ein entdeckter Mangel ist spätestens eine Woche nach Erhalt der Ware schriftlich anzuzeigen. Unterlässt der Kunde die Untersuchung oder die Mängelanzeige oder wird die Ware von ihm verbraucht, vermischt oder veräußert, so gilt dies als vorbehaltslose Genehmigung. Die Beanstandung einer Lieferung berechtigt nicht zur Ablehnung weiterer Lieferungen aus demselben oder einem anderen Vertrag.

2. Durch Verhandlungen über eine Beanstandung wird nicht auf den Einwand, dass die Rüge nicht rechtzeitig, sachlich unbegründet oder sonst ungenügend gewesen sei verzichtet. Maßnahmen zur Schadensminderung gelten nicht als Mängelanerkenntnis.

3. Die Gewährleistung erfolgt zunächst durch Nachbesserung oder Nacherfüllung. Schlägt die Nachbesserung bzw. Nacherfüllung fehl, so kann der Kunde Minderung verlangen oder vom Vertrag zurück treten.

4. Mängel oder Beschädigungen an den vom Unternehmen gelieferten Waren, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung sowie Verwendung ungeeigneten Zubehörs, Änderungen an den Waren durch den Kunden oder einen vom Unternehmen nicht beauftragten Dritten zurückzuführen sind, sind ebenso wie natürlicher bzw. produktbedingter Verschleiß von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.

5. Ist der Kunde Verbraucher im Sinne des § 13 BGB, beträgt die Gewährleistungsfrist für neue Ware 24 und für gebrauchte Ware 12 Monate. Die Frist beginnt mit dem Gefahrenübergang zu laufen. Ist der Kunde Unternehmer, juristische Person oder rechtsfähige Personengesellschaft im Sinne des §14 BGB, so ist die Gewährleistung sowohl für neue als auch gebrauchte Ware ausgeschlossen.

6. Im Übrigen richtet sich die Gewährleistung nach den gesetzlichen Vorschriften.

IX. Rücktrittsrecht
1. Das Unternehmen behält sich das Recht vor, vom Vertrag aus Gründen, die eine Vertragsdurchführung unzumutbar machen, zurück zu treten. Dies ist insbesondere dann der Fall, wenn ein Artikel sich trotz eines dazu abgeschlossenen Deckungsgeschäftes und damit ohne unser Verschulden als nicht lieferbar herausstellt
oder sich erst nach Auftragsannahme herausstellen sollte, dass es sich bei dem Artikel um indizierte Ware irgendeiner Art handelt. Bei jugendgefährdender Ware kann das Unternehmen vom Vertrag zurücktreten, wenn der Kunde einen nachträglich geforderten Altersnachweis nicht beibringen kann.

2. Der Kunde hat Anspruch auf Rückerstattung bereits geleisteter Zahlungen binnen eines für das Unternehmen angemessenen Zeitraums.

3. Weitergehende Ansprüche des Kunden sind ausgeschlossen.

4. Soweit das Unternehmen wegen eines nicht erbrachten Altersnachweises bei jugendgefährdender Ware vom Vertrag zurücktritt und das Unternehmen kein Verschulden am Rücktritt trifft, so sind, falls dem Unternehmen aus Anlass des Rücktritts Kosten entstanden sind, von dem Rückerstattungs-anspruch des Kunden diese Kosten in Abzug zu bringen und gegebenenfalls ein darüber hinaus gehender Schadensersatz zu verlangen. Sind in einem solchen Fall seitens des Kunden noch keine Zahlungen erfolgt, so kann das Unternehmen den Ersatz für bereits entstandene Kosten verlangen.

X. Zahlungen
1. Rechnungen sind sofort nach ihrem Erhalt ohne jeden Abzug auf ein von dem Unternehmen angegebenes Konto zu leisten. Der Abzug von Skonto bedarf einer besonderen schriftlichen Vereinbarung.

2. Ist die Erfüllung des Zahlungsanspruchs wegen einer nach Vertragsschluss eingetretenen oder bekannt gewordenen Verschlechterung der Vermögensverhältnisse des Kunden gefährdet, so kann das Unternehmen die weitere Ausführung bis zur Bezahlung zurückstellen oder unbeschadet entgegenstehender früherer Vereinbarungen eine Vorauszahlung oder andere Sicherheiten verlangen.

3. Kommt der Kunde mit seiner Zahlungspflicht ganz oder teilweise in Verzug, so hat er ab diesem Zeitpunkt als Verbraucher im Sinne des § 13 BGB Verzugszinsen in Höhe von jährlich 5 Prozentpunkten über dem jeweiligen Basiszinssatz der Europäischen Zentralbank und als Unternehmer, juristische Person oder rechtsfähige Personengesellschaft im Sinne des §14 BGB in Höhe von jährlich 8 Prozentpunkten über dem jeweiligen Basiszinssatz der Europäischen Zentralbank zu bezahlen, soweit das Unternehmen nicht einen höheren Schaden nachweist.

4. Das Unternehmen ist berechtigt, Vorauskasse zu verlangen und erst nach Erhalt des Rechnungsbetrages verpflichtet, die vereinbarte Leistung zu erbringen.

XI Datenspeicherung
1. Die dem Unternehmen bekannt gegebenen Kundendaten werden im Rahmen der gültigen datenschutzrechtlichen Regelungen lediglich insoweit und nur solange gespeichert, als dies zur Erledigung des Auftrages und etwaiger sonstiger Vorschriften erforderlich ist. Eine Weitergabe an Dritte erfolgt nicht.

XII. Copyright
1. Homepage-Layouts, verwendete Grafiken und Bilder, Sammlungen von Beiträgen sowie einzelne Beiträge sind urheberrechtlich geschützt. Eine Vervielfältigung oder Verwendung ist ohne ausdrückliche Genehmigung des Autors nicht gestattet. Alle derartigen Rechte behält sich das Unternehmen vor.

XIII. Erfüllungsort und Gerichtsstand sowie Schlussbestimmungen
1. Erfüllungsort und Gerichtsstand ist, soweit rechtlich zulässig, der Sitz des Unternehmens. Das Unternehmen ist allerdings berechtigt, Ansprüche gegen den Kunden auch an jedem anderen für diesen zuständigen Gericht geltend zu machen.

2. Es gilt ausschließlich deutsches Recht.

3. Änderungen oder Ergänzungen zum Vertrag bedürfen zu ihrer Rechtswirksamkeit der Schriftform. Mündliche Nebenabreden wurden nicht getroffen. Sollten einzelne Teile der vorstehenden Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen unwirksam oder nichtig sein oder werden, soll an ihre Stelle diejenige gesetzliche Regelung treten, die dem wirtschaftlich Gewollten am Nächsten kommt. Bleiben die übrigen Bestimmungen Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen hiervon unberührt.

Returns within 7 working days. Previous notification by email or phone will be appreciated. The price of the book (not the shipping cost) will be restituted.
In case the return results from an incomplete description full restitution will be made. Returns should arrive at the bookseller in the same condition as received. Shipping is at sender's risk.

Betaling kan geschieden via bank- en paypaloverschrijving. Binnen de Europese Unie kan door middel van IBAN en BIC worden betaald.
Betaling dient binnen 14 dagen na dagtekening van de factuur plaats te vinden. Indien deze termijn niet in acht wordt genomen, zijn de daaruit voortvloeiende administratiekosten voor rekening van de koper.
Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling heeft plaatsgevonden.
Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor, na overleg met de koper, de goederen verzekerd en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De hieruit voortvloeiende kosten worden doorberekend aan de koper.
Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour worden gezonden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per e-mail of telefoon wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (uitgezonderd de verzendkosten) binnen 30 dagen volgt.
Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving, dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourport gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper in dezelfde staat te bereiken als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzending ligt geheel bij de afzender.

Artikel 1. Algemeen
1.1. Consument: de natuurlijke persoon die niet handelt in de uitoefening van beroep of bedrijf en een overeenkomst op afstand aangaat met de ondernemer;
1.2. Voor bedrijven, instellingen en natuurlijke personen, die handelen in de uitoefening van beroep of bedrijf, gelden onze Algemene Voorwaarden Niet-Consumenten.
1.3. De verkoper is Antiquariaat de Kloof, Limmerick 7, 1046 AR Amsterdam, hierna te noemen ondernemer.
1.4. Deze algemene voorwaarden zijn van toepassing op elk aanbod van de ondernemer en op elke tot stand gekomen overeenkomst op afstand tussen ondernemer en consument.

Artikel 2. Het aanbod
2.1. Het aanbod is vrijblijvend en geschied onder voorbehoud van beschikbaarheid en aanvaarding door ondernemer.
2.2. De boeken verkeren in goede tot zeer goede staat, tenzij anders beschreven. Kennelijke vergissingen of fouten in het aanbod binden de ondernemer niet.
2.3. Elk aanbod bevat de navolgende informatie, zodat voor de consument duidelijk is wat de rechten en verplichtingen zijn, die aan de aanvaarding van het aanbod zijn verbonden. Dit betreft: de prijs inclusief belastingen; de verzendkosten, de mogelijkheid tot recht van retour binnen 14 dagen en de wijze van betaling.

Artikel 3. De overeenkomst
3.1. De overeenkomst komt, onder voorbehoud van het bepaalde in lid 4, tot stand op het moment van aanvaarding door de consument van het aanbod door het plaatsen van een bestelling via internet, email, fax of brief.
3.2. Indien de consument het aanbod langs elektronische weg heeft aanvaard, bevestigt de ondernemer onverwijld langs elektronische weg de ontvangst van de aanvaarding van het aanbod.
3.3. De ondernemer behoudt ten alle tijde zich het recht voor om de overeenkomst niet aan te gaan en daardoor is hij gerechtigd een bestelling of aanvraag te weigeren of aan de uitvoering bijzondere voorwaarden te verbinden.
3.4. De ondernemer zal bij levering van het product aan de consument de volgende informatie schriftelijk meedelen :
- het postadres en emailadres van de ondernemer waar de consument met klachten terecht kan;
- de voorwaarden waaronder en de wijze waarop de consument van het herroepingsrecht gebruik kan maken, dan wel een duidelijke melding inzake het uitgesloten zijn van het herroepingsrecht;
- de in artikel 2 lid 3 van deze voorwaarden opgenomen gegevens, tenzij de ondernemer deze gegevens al aan de consument heeft verstrekt voor de uitvoering der overeenkomst;

Artikel 4. Recht van retour
1. De consument heeft de mogelijkheid tot recht van retour binnen 14 dagen. Deze termijn gaat in op de dag na bezorging van het boek aan het leveradres van de consument.
2. Tijdens deze termijn is de consument gehouden zorgvuldig om te gaan met het boek en de verpakking. Hij zal het boek slechts in die mate uitpakken voor zover dat nodig is om te kunnen beoordelen of hij het boek wenst te behouden. Indien hij van zijn herroepingsrecht gebruik maakt, zal hij het boek in de originele staat en verpakking, maar in ieder geval zeer goed verpakt, aan de ondernemer retourneren op bovenstaand adres.

Artikel 5. Kosten in geval van retour
5.1. Indien de consument gebruik maakt van zijn recht van retour, komen ten hoogste de kosten van terugzending voor zijn rekening.
5.2. Indien de consument een bedrag vooruitbetaald heeft, zal de ondernemer dit bedrag, zo spoedig mogelijk, doch uiterlijk binnen 30 dagen na de ontvangst van het boek, terugbetalen, Evt, kosten van terugzending (bijv. terugzending onder rembours), die door de ondernemer wordengemaakt, zijn van teruggave uitgesloten.

Artikel 6. De prijs
6.1. Alle genoemde prijzen zijn inclusief BTW.

Artikel 7. Levering
7.1. De ondernemer is zorgvuldig bij het in ontvangst nemen en bij de uitvoering van bestellingen van boeken.
7.2. Als plaats van levering geldt het leveradres dat de consument bij zijn bestelling aan het bedrijf kenbaar heeft gemaakt.
7.3. Met inachtneming van hetgeen hierover in artikel 3 van deze algemene voorwaarden is vermeld, zal het bedrijf geaccepteerde bestellingen binnen 30 dagen uitvoeren.
7.4. Het risico van beschadiging en/of vermissing van boeken berust tot het moment van bezorging aan de consument bij de ondernemer. De ondernemer sluit aansprakelijkheid uit voor beschadiging en/of vermissing indien er achteraf sprake blijkt te zijn geweest van fouten in het leveradres, of een leveradres buiten de EU. De verzending van boeken naar adressen van derden, zoals bedrijven, organisaties en instellingen geschied alleen voor risico van de consument.

Artikel 8. Betaling
8.1. Bestellingen van consumenten moeten vooruitbetaald worden, slechts in bepaalde gevallen kan op rekening geleverd worden. De door de consument verschuldigde bedragen te worden voldaan binnen dertig dagen na bezorging van het boek.
8.2. De consument heeft de plicht om onjuistheden in verstrekte of vermelde betaalgegevens onverwijld aan de ondernemer te melden.
8.3. In geval van wanbetaling van de consument heeft de ondernemer behoudens wettelijke beperkingen, het recht om de kosten in rekening te brengen. De kosten voor een eerste aanmaning na dertig dagen zijn Euro 4.50.
8.4. Indien zestig dagen na bezorging de door de consument verschuldigde bedragen niet zijn betaald, kan de vordering in handen van een incassobureau worden gesteld.

Artikel 9. Eigendomsvoorbehoud.
9.1. Totdat volledige betaling heeft plaatsgevonden, blijven de door de ondernemer geleverde boeken eigendom van de ondernemer.

Artikel 10.
10.1 Op overeenkomsten tussen de ondernemer en de consument waarop deze algemene voorwaarden betrekking hebben, is uitsluitend Nederlands recht van toepassing.
10.2 Eventuele geschillen worden uitsluitend voorgelegd aan de Rechtbank te Amsterdam.


Algemene Voorwaarden Niet-Consumenten

Artikel 1. Algemeen

Artikel 2. Het aanbod

4.1. De koper heeft, na toestemming van de ondernemer, de mogelijkheid tot recht van retour binnen 14 dagen indien het geleverde boek niet aan de beschrijving voldoet of ernstig defect is. Deze termijn gaat in op de dag na het moment van bezorging aan de koper van het boek.
4,2. Tijdens deze termijn is de koper gehouden zorgvuldig om te gaan met het boek en de verpakking. Indien hij van zijn herroepingsrecht gebruik maakt, zal hij het boek in de originele staat en verpakking, maar in ieder geval zeer goed verpakt, aan de ondernemer retourneren op bovenstaand adres.

Artikel 5. Kosten in geval van retour
5.1. Indien de koper gebruik maakt van zijn recht van retour, komen ten hoogste de kosten van terugzending voor zijn rekening.
5.2. Indien de koper een bedrag vooruitbetaald heeft, zal de ondernemer dit bedrag, zo spoedig mogelijk, doch uiterlijk binnen 30 dagen na de ontvangst van het boek, terugbetalen, Evt, kosten van terugzending (bijv. terugzending onder rembours), die door de ondernemer wordengemaakt, zijn van teruggave uitgesloten.

Artikel 6. De prijs

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Al onze boeken zijn in goede tweedehands staat, tenzij anders omschreven. Kleine onvolkomenheden (zoals naam op titelblad of kleine leessporen) worden niet altijd vermeld. Storende beschadigingen, aantekeningen, uitgebreide opdrachten etc. vermelden we doorgaans wel. Informeer bij twijfel naar de staat van het boek.

Verzenden Nederland

Brievenbuspost versturen we via PostNL.
Pakketpost versturen we standaard met DHL.
Andere verzendopties zijn mogelijk op aanvraag.
Voor alle verzendopties gelden de verzendvoorwaarden van het gekozen postbedrijf.
Mocht een verzending mislukken door toedoen of nalatigheid van de ontvanger (denk bijvoorbeeld aan het niet tijdig ophalen van een pakket bij een afhaalpunt) dan zijn voor een volgende verzendpoging opnieuw verzendkosten verschuldigd.


Verzenden buitenland

Bij verzending naar het buitenland kiezen we per geval de beste verzendmethode. Verzending met onder andere PostNL, DHL, Kiala en DPD is mogelijk. Kopers met een voorkeur voor een verzendbedrijf/methode kunnen die melden.

We brengen geen extra verpakkings- of administratiekosten in rekening.

Betaling

Wij vragen betaling vooraf; verzending volgt zo spoedig mogelijk na ontvangst betaling.

Betaalmethoden:

We sturen u standaard een betaallink met keuze uit iDeal, KBC/CBC, Bancontact, Sofort en div. creditcards.

Verder kunt u kiezen voor een reguliere bankoverschrijving en Paypal.

Retourvoorwaarden
Neem altijd eerst contact met ons op.

Boeken kunnen binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, in originele staat, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd worden geretourneerd.

U ontvangt de aankoopsom plus verzendkosten retour.

Retourkosten zijn voor koper.

Als boeken niet voldoen aan de omschrijving zijn (na overleg) ook de retourkosten voor rekening van Boekhandel Louis Tinner.

Postage costs are for the buyer.

Bestellen kan per e-mail of brief.
Verzend- en bankkosten zijn ten laste van de koper en worden aan kostprijs doorgerekend. (Boeken voor Nederlandse klanten worden vanuit Nederland aan binnenland tarief verzonden). Op verzoek verzenden wij naar een afhaalpunt.
Wij zenden u, per e-mail, vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag.
De bestelde boeken worden verstuurd na ontvangst van betaling. U kan betalen via bank- of postoverschrijving (giro) en PayPal.
Als een aankoop u niet bevalt, kan u die binnen de 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgave van reden, op eigen kosten retourneren waarna het aankoopbedrag wordt terugbetaald.
Is de retourzending het gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten terugbetaald. Gelieve ons hiervan vooraf te verwittigen.

Return Policy:
