All items are offered subject to prior sale. Any contract arising from an order is made under British law. Title to any goods does not transfer from the seller until payment is received in full. Unless instructed otherwise all dispatches will be insured for all risks.
Methods of payment accepted: PayPal; IBAN; Cheque drawn in Sterling; Cash by Registered Mail
Return policy: Any items held to be unsatisfactory may be returned within 7 days of receipt, providing such returns are notified to us in advance.

Shipping and handling: $9.00 USPS Priority Mail and $4.00 Media Mail within the Continental United States. Oversized or international orders extra. Libraries invoiced.
PLEASE NOTE: Returns accepted only if not as described, within one week and with prior notice.

All books are returnable within 10 days if not as described or after notifying us first.
Texas customers must pay 8.25% state sales tax.
We take checks on U.S. banks, PayPal, and money orders.
For books shipped within the U.S. media shipping is $6.00 with $3.50 for each addtional book. Priority shipping is $5.60-$16.85 (depending on size) with $5.75 for each additional book. Packages weighing more than 2 pounds may have additional shipping charges.
International (Except for Canada and Mexico) $26.95-$48.20 for books two pounds and under (shipping may be reduced for lightweight books).

We accept credit cards via Paypal, and sterling and euro cheques and we have also been known to accept euro and dollar bills in the post. Shipping is extra and is quoted at cost i.e.we quote for each book on receiving the order. We have a 'no quibble' returns policy.

Books are in good antiquarian condition, unless described otherwise. Serious defects are stated, minor defects not always. All prices are in Euro, tax included, but without postage, packing and bank charges which are at buyer's expense. Shipping of books after receipt of payment. Books may be returned within 7 working days (prior notification welcome). A full refund can be expected if the books do not match the description stated. Otherwise, only the price of the books (excluding shipping costs) will be refunded.
Orders from the Netherlands and other Euro-countries preferably paid by bank transfer.
We also accept VISA, Mastercard/Eurocard and Paypal. Cheques cost extra.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Onze boeken verkeren in goede antiquarische staat, tenzij anders beschreven. Kleine onvolkomenheden zijn niet altijd vermeld. Prijzen zijn in Euro, inclusief BTW (niet apart vermeld, omdat we deelnemen aan de Margeregeling voor antiquaren) en exclusief portokosten.
Een bestelling per e-mail wordt altijd met een e-mail beantwoord.
Bestellingen uit Nederland en België worden doorgaans met een rekening verstuurd; we behouden ons echter het recht voor betaling vooraf te verlangen.
We behouden ons het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten daarvan worden veelal doorberekend aan de koper.
Boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper tot de volle prijs is betaald. Retourzendingen binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst (waarbij voorafgaande kennisgeving op prijs wordt gesteld). In dat geval volgt restitutie van de prijs van het boek (exclusief portokosten). Alleen als de beschrijving foutief was, worden ook de portokosten gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen de verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan de koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is voor de afzender!
