These rates are based on an average-sized book. If your book is larger or heavier than average, we will email you with a postage quote, before filling your order.

US, and overseas surface mail, orders are couriered over the border every other week for shipment via USPS. Despite a possible delay in dispatch, this method is usually quicker, and always cheaper, than Canada Post. If you require immediate dispatch, please contact us and we can quote options.

Unless otherwise stated books are in very good (antiquarian) state. Minor defects are not always mentioned. We accept payments by creditcard (VISA, Mastercard), PayPal and (within the EU) bank transfer. Prices are exclusive postage and insurance if applicable. Payment is due in advance. Books will be shipped within 2 business days after payment is received. Shipping rates may vary from those listed on Abebooks for very heavy/large or small books. We charge real shipping costs. Customers will be informed ahead on shipping costs and shipping methods (track & trace). An invoice will precede the sending. Recipients are responsible for contacting their local customs/brokers /postal/delivery offices in order to receive packages. Books can be returned within 14 days after receipt.

U ontvangt vooraf een factuur van het totaalbedrag per email. Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen en bibliotheken kan eventueel met factuur worden geleverd. Betaling kan geschieden via bank- of giro-overschrijving, via credit card of PayPal. Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden. Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper. Elke aankoop kan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt. Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.
