Orders are sent within 2 working days of receiving paypal payment or of UK£ cheques being cleared.

Delivery charges for parcels up to 1kg are as follows, additional charges may be requested for books weighing more than 1kg:

Orders for books weighing less than 1 kg will generally be processed on receiving your order. For heavier items we will contact you for your agreement to delivery charges before processing your order. Multiple orders are packaged to minimise delivery charges where possible.
Your agreement to a charge for additional insurance may be sought on purchases of higher value or if the order is to be delivered to a different address other than the ordering address.

Returns on books that are not as described are made if returned within 14 days of receipt. It is essential that customers e-mail or phone us to discuss the return prior to the return being posted. Returns on books that are as descibed but on receipt are not wanted by the customer may be allowed, contact us as soon as possible if you wish to return on this basis, the buyer will be responsible for the costs of returning the item(s).

We trade books according the rules of the I.L.A.B. (International League of Antiquarian Booksellers) of which we are a member. Prices are net. Shipping is not included. We charge shipping costs at the rates of the Belgian Postal Services. In our order confirmation we state the actual costs. Books can be returned within 10 days after delivery with our explicit consent if they do not correspond to the description. As payment we only accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express. or IBAN banktransfer. For orders with a value over 500 EURO other payment methods can be arranged but this needs to be settled when placing the order. Books shipped within the United States will be sent via media mail at $4.00 for the first book ($3.00 per book for additional books on the same order). Priority mail in the United States costs $6.00 for the first book ($4.00 per book for additional books). All books to customers outside of the United States will be shipped via airmail. The airmail costs will be dependent upon the weight and desired arrival speed of the shipment. At the time of order, we will contact the foreign customer via email with the various shipping options and costs. Any book may be returned within one week of receipt.

Offered books are in good condition. Common shortcomings such as light discoloration, reading crease, name on front- or endpage are not mentioned. If necessary shortcomings will be mentioned in the confirmation of receipt of the order. Prices are including VAT, but excluding mailing costs. The mailing costs are for the expense of the buyer. Only the actual postage expenses according to the TNT tariffs will be charged. Dispatch of the ordered goods will take place as soon as possible after receipt of payment.

Method of payment
Payment is possible by transfering money to ING bank account 3795414, attention of A.T. de Wreede. You can also pay with PayPal. Cash payment is possible upon collection of the ordered goods.

Return of goods
Books that do not meet the expectations of the buyer can be returned within 7 days. Expenses of returning the goods are for the buyer.



Verkoopvoorwaarden

Aangeboden boeken zijn in goede staat. Gebruikelijke gebreken zoals lichte verkleuring, leesvouw, naam op schut- of titelblad e.d. worden niet vermeld. Zonodig worden gebreken gemeld bij de ontvangstbevestiging van de bestelling. Prijzen zijn inclusief BTW, maar exclusief verzendkosten. De verzendkosten zijn voor rekening van de koper. Alleen portokosten volgens het TNT-tarief worden in rekening gebracht. Pakketten worden verzonden met DHL of Postnl. Toezending van het bestelde geschiedt zo spoedig mogelijk na ontvangst van de betaling.

Betaalmethode
Betalen kan door overschrijving op bankrekening NL12INGB0003795414 (ING Bank) tnv A.T. de Wreede. Contante betaling is mogelijk bij het ophalen van het bestelde.

Retourzending
Boeken die niet aan de verwachting van de besteller voldoen, kunnen binnen 7 dagen worden teruggestuurd. Kosten voor retourzending zijn voor rekening van de besteller.

We send all our books on approval and we gladly accept returns for any reason in like condition within 30 days of purchase.
We now post only via DHL as weight for weight it is a very similar cost to recorded mail, but is fully tracked and much more reliable. This gives next day delivery to places as far afield as New York. Price is based on an average book weighing 1kg. if your book is very light it may be less, or more for sets and the like that are heavier.

Al onze boeken zijn in goede tweedehands staat, tenzij anders omschreven. Kleine onvolkomenheden (zoals naam op titelblad of kleine leessporen) worden niet altijd vermeld. Storende beschadigingen, aantekeningen, uitgebreide opdrachten etc. vermelden we doorgaans wel. Informeer bij twijfel naar de staat van het boek.

Verzenden Nederland

Brievenbuspost versturen we via PostNL.
Pakketpost versturen we standaard met DHL.
Andere verzendopties zijn mogelijk op aanvraag.
Voor alle verzendopties gelden de verzendvoorwaarden van het gekozen postbedrijf.
Mocht een verzending mislukken door toedoen of nalatigheid van de ontvanger (denk bijvoorbeeld aan het niet tijdig ophalen van een pakket bij een afhaalpunt) dan zijn voor een volgende verzendpoging opnieuw verzendkosten verschuldigd.


Verzenden buitenland

Bij verzending naar het buitenland kiezen we per geval de beste verzendmethode. Verzending met onder andere PostNL, DHL, Kiala en DPD is mogelijk. Kopers met een voorkeur voor een verzendbedrijf/methode kunnen die melden.

We brengen geen extra verpakkings- of administratiekosten in rekening.

Betaling

Wij vragen betaling vooraf; verzending volgt zo spoedig mogelijk na ontvangst betaling.
