No dust-wrapper. Owner name neatly inside. The Assimil language learning approach initiated by Alphonse Cherél first appeared in 1929 with 'Anglais Sans Peine'. The methodology was an early example based on using records alongside the textbook. Assimil's recognisable stylised logo depicts a long-playing record.

Sadony was a philosopher and spiritualist, known for briefly working for Theodore Roosevelt, and his eighty acre estate, named 'The Valley of the Pines', in rural Michigan.
