All books are returnable if the customer is dissatisfied within ten days of purchase. All items are offered subject to prior sale. Payment by PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, or money order or check. Payment with order except for those customers known to us. Libraries and institutions invoiced with shipment. All shipments within the U.S. are made by UPS Ground or USPS. Shipping charges: By USPS media mail, $4 for the first book, $1 for each additional book. By UPS, $7.00 for the first book; $2.00 for each additional book. Larger, heavier items may result in additional shipping charges. Maryland residents must add 5% sales tax. For customers outside of the U.S., shipment will be made only via insured surface or insured airmail, unless the customer specifically requests an uninsured method (i.e., global priority) and specifically assumes all risks for lost shipments. Books listed in our catalogues are complete and in acceptable condition unless otherwise indicated. All shipments by registered mail with cost of euro 3.95 to Spain, 10.95 to Europe and 14.95 to the rest of the world. The shipping costs for Spain refer to the peninsular area. International shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 1.1 LB, or 1/2 Kg.; if your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Return policy:

Books are sold net plus a min. $7.99 s&h. Typically, my books are heavier or larger than standard books, and most orders ship at cost + $4 for handling and supplies. I use the United States Post Office for all my shipping. I extend 10% trade discount.

I accept cash, money orders, PAYPAL, VISA, Mastercard, Discover as methods of payment. I also trade on occasion. I am able to extend credit to those institutions which desire to sell or trade duplicates and discards but are not allowed or able to accept cash payments for such material.

Books may be returned if not as described providing they enter the return mail-stream within seven (7) days of arrival and rejection by the customer. Booklets 16 pages and less are not returnable for any reason. Books returned to me outside of these conditions will not be refunded and will not be returned to the original purchaser until the same s&h charges that were originally charged are paid again to facilitate such return. This has only been an issues three times in 19 years, however.

Also, I maintain want lists in these areas, and conduct searches for any title my customers seek, whether in my field of expertise of not. I buy and sell collections and libraries of books in the topic areas listed above and offer collection development service. Books are available for viewing by appointment. I am located in the scenic Amish Country of Lancaster County, PA, 90 minutes from Philadelphia, 2 hours from Washington, DC and 4 hours from New York City.

* Orders from overseas will be sent by surface-mail unless we are instructed otherwise.
* All books are in good condition, unless otherwise stated. Negligible defects, which can be considered normal for used or antiquarian books, are not always mentioned.
* We inform you in advance by email about the costs of handling and about the total amount you have to pay.
* Payment in advance is requested.
* Prices are in Euro and net, postage is extra at cost.
* Any item can be returned within 7 days of receipt, a prior email notification is requested.
* Goods are always travelling at senders risk

* Alle boeken zijn compleet en tenminste in goede staat. Kleine gebreken, zoals naam op schutblad of lichte beschadigingen die normaal zijn voor gebruikte boeken, zijn niet altijd aangegeven.
* Prijzen zijn netto, in euro en inclusief BTW. Verzendkosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend.
* U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email
* Na betaling worden de boeken zo snel mogelijk verzonden.
* Betaling kan via bank- of giro-overschrijving.
* Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen - in uitzonderingsgevallen - te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper. Overigens wordt in deze gevallen eerst contact opgenomen met de koper.
* Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour worden gezonden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt.
* Is de retourzending het gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is voor de afzender.

We send all our books on approval and we gladly accept returns for any reason in like condition within 30 days of purchase.
We now post only via DHL as weight for weight it is a very similar cost to recorded mail, but is fully tracked and much more reliable. This gives next day delivery to places as far afield as New York. Price is based on an average book weighing 1kg. if your book is very light it may be less, or more for sets and the like that are heavier.
