Cloth, dj, F/VG. xlvi+124pp, photogravure frontis, large folding pedigree, 46 large photogravure plates, index, top edge gilt, copy 268 of a Limited Edition of 350 copies ( 250 for sale, so presumably this copy was given away by the Family ) some foxing to the preliminary & final pages, plates in good order save for 1 which is foxed to the margins, cloth bright thanks to the dustjacket, a nice solid, near fine copy in a dustjacket that has a browned spine. Hardback with dustjacket. ¶ Catalogue of 135 pictures at Elton Hall, near Peterborough. The collection contains several family portraits by Reynolds, along with Turner\'s \'Wreck of the Minotaur\', Constable\'s \'Dedham Vale\' as well as works by Landseer, Watts, Frith & Millais. The Fifth Earl had added to the collection, to replace paintings sold in 1828.
