Any purchase can be returned within 7 calendar days upon receipt ; please notify us first by e-mail for return instructions.
The returned goods must arrive at the address of the seller in the same condition as they were sent to the customer. The seller will then refund the purchase cost (excl. shipping/packing costs, excl. return postage).
If the return is the result of an inadequate description we will refund also initial shipping costs + return postage.

Le Flaneur prefers and strives to remain as a physical establishment rather than an online seller, and its loyalty lies with frequenters and chance visitors. Thus, in principle, books are cheaper in the shop, and a select and increasing part of the collection is not available for distance selling. Le Flaneur also recommends to buy local, physical, and loyal, since he believes every act including the act of buying (or not buying for that matter) is political which deserves consideration and reflection.

We send worldwide if we really have to, but we encourage you base your decisions on total costs including "externalities", rather than jumping to the cheapest option, since it never is.

There is no clear legal global rule for returns; but as a rule of thumb we don't accept returns, as we abstain from engaging any discussion over the vague and incredibly personal concept of satisfaction, and from contributing to needless entropy in personal and universal levels. We believe in goodwill and presume people has the potential to act responsibly and reasonably. If you think what you received fails to match its description, you keep the book and get your money back.

A note on description: Page numbers indicate numbered pages. Please always keep in mind the age of books when checking book conditions. Books are thoroughly checked and depicted in as much detail as possible (thus the shorter the depiction, the better the book). Die Bücher sind, soweit nicht anders vermerkt, dem Alter entsprechend gut erhalten (kleinere Mängel, Stempel u. Besitzvermerke sind nicht immer angegeben, jedoch im Preis berücksichtigt). Das Angebot ist freibleibend, es besteht kein Lieferzwang. Sie erhalten von uns eine Rückantwort über die Lieferbarkeit der bestellten Ware. Der Versand erfolgt auf Kosten des Bestellers. Bestellte Titel liefern wir weltweit und immer so schnell wie möglich.
Preise
Die Preise sind in Euro angegeben, inkl. der derzeit gesetzlichen Mehrwertsteuer. Den Anteil der Mehrwertsteuer am Gesamtpreis weisen wir auf jeder Rechnung aus. Der Rechnungsbetrag wird ohne jeden Abzug 8 Tage nach Erhalt zur Zahlung fällig. Wir behalten uns eine Vorausrechnung vor.

6. Eigentumsvorbehalt: Die gelieferte Ware bleibt bis zur vollständigen Zahlung des Kaufpreises Eigentum des Antiquariates. Der angebotene Preis ist bindend. Beim Versendungskauf versteht sich der Preis zuzüglich einer Versandkostenpauschale. Dem Kunden entstehen bei Bestellung durch Nutzung der Fernkommunikationsmittel keine zusätzlichen Kosten.
7. Gerichtstand: Es gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Bei Verbrauchern, die den Vertrag nicht zu beruflichen oder gewerblichen Zwecken abschließen, gilt diese Rechtswahl nur insoweit, als nicht der gewährte Schutz durch zwingende Bestimmungen des Rechts des Staates, in dem der Verbraucher seinen gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt hat, entzogen wird. Die Bestimmungen des UN-Kaufrechts finden keine Anwendung.
Ist der Kunde Kaufmann, juristische Person des öffentlichen Rechts oder öffentlich-rechtliches Sondervermögen, ist ausschließlicher Gerichtsstand für alle Streitigkeiten aus diesem Vertrag Hamburg. Dasselbe gilt, wenn der Kunde keinen allgemeinen Gerichtsstand in Deutschland hat oder Wohnsitz oder gewöhnlicher Aufenthalt zum Zeitpunkt der Klageerhebung nicht bekannt sind.
8. Datenschutz: Die an das Antiquariat übermittelte persönlichen Daten werden mittels einer EDV-Anlage verarbeitet und auf unbestimmte Zeit gespeichert. Sie werden nur zur zweckbezogenen Durchführung des Kaufvertrages und der Kundenverwaltung genutzt. Eine Weitergabe dieser Daten an Dritte erfolgt nicht. Grundlage hierzu sind die jeweils geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen wie Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG) und Informations- und Kommunikationsdienstegesetz (IuKDG).
9. Salvatorische Klausel: Sollten einzelne Bestimmungen des Vertrags mit dem Kunden einschließlich dieser Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingung ganz oder teilweise unwirksam sein oder werden, so wird hierdurch die Gültigkeit der übrigen Bestimmungen nicht berührt. Die ganz oder teilweise unwirksame Regelung soll durch eine Regelung ersetzt werden, deren wirtschaftlicher Erfolg dem der unwirksamen möglichst nahe kommt.
Datenschutzerklärung
Wir verwenden die von Ihnen mitgeteilten Daten zur Erfüllung und Abwicklung Ihrer Bestellung. Eine Weitergabe Ihrer Daten erfolgt an das mit der Lieferung beauftragte Versandunternehmen, soweit dies zur Lieferung der Waren notwendig ist. Zur Abwicklung von Zahlungen geben wir Ihre Zahlungsdaten ggf. an unseren Zahlungsabwickler bzw. an unsere Hausbank weiter. Verkoopvoorwaarden
Al onze boeken zijn in goede tweedehands staat, tenzij anders omschreven. Kleine onvolkomenheden (zoals naam op titelblad of kleine leessporen) worden niet altijd vermeld. Storende beschadigingen, aantekeningen, uitgebreide opdrachten etc. vermelden we doorgaans wel. Informeer bij twijfel naar de staat van het boek.
Verzenden Nederland
Brievenbuspost versturen we via PostNL.
Pakketpost versturen we standaard met DHL.
Andere verzendopties zijn mogelijk op aanvraag.
Voor alle verzendopties gelden de verzendvoorwaarden van het gekozen postbedrijf.
Mocht een verzending mislukken door toedoen of nalatigheid van de ontvanger (denk bijvoorbeeld aan het niet tijdig ophalen van een pakket bij een afhaalpunt) dan zijn voor een volgende verzendpoging opnieuw verzendkosten verschuldigd.
Verzenden buitenland
Bij verzending naar het buitenland kiezen we per geval de beste verzendmethode. Verzending met onder andere PostNL, DHL, Kiala en DPD is mogelijk. Kopers met een voorkeur voor een verzendbedrijf/methode kunnen die melden.
We brengen geen extra verpakkings- of administratiekosten in rekening.
Betaling
Wij vragen betaling vooraf; verzending volgt zo spoedig mogelijk na ontvangst betaling.
Betaalmethoden:
We sturen u standaard een betaallink met keuze uit iDeal, KBC/CBC, Bancontact, Sofort en div. creditcards.
Verder kunt u kiezen voor een reguliere bankoverschrijving en Paypal.
Retourvoorwaarden
Neem altijd eerst contact met ons op.
Boeken kunnen binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, in originele staat, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd worden geretourneerd.
U ontvangt de aankoopsom plus verzendkosten retour.
Retourkosten zijn voor koper.
Als boeken niet voldoen aan de omschrijving zijn (na overleg) ook de retourkosten voor rekening van Boekhandel Louis Tinner.
