VIII, pp. 513 - 516: 'Lotze sought to classify nature, soul, mind, history and culture in a grteat unifying concept, and to do so, moreover, with careful consideration of the great advances in the inorganic sciences, biology, and medecine, as well as in psychology... In 1851 he discussed again, in a more profound manner, the subject of the interpretation of existence in "Allgemeine Physiologie des körperlichen Lebens". He stated that we must recognize a kind of ensoulment in all things and repeated the justification of teleological views alongside of mechanical conceptions. ...': Comp. Roestvlekjes, verzuring, waterschade, scheurtjes, stempels, defecten aan band en papier worden in de regel allemaal vermeld. Voorwaarden bij de verkoop volgens de richtlijnen opgesteld door NVvA en ILAB. Prijzen excl. btw [Nederland en Europa] en porto, behoudens houders van een BTW registratie nummmer. Porto tegen kostprijs. Normaalgesproken levering met factuur in het geval van bekende relaties, veelal wordt gevraagd de factuur bij vooruitbetaling te voldoen. A series of detailed engravings after drawings by Seth Eastman, who was stationed, along with his wife Mary, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota, from 1841 through 1848. These depict such revealing aspects of Native American life as transportation of wounded, the medicine dance of the Winnebagoes, spearing fish from a canoe, an Indian woman dressing a buffalo skin, etc. Wagner-Camp cautions that the work "should not be confused with Mrs. Eastman's later work, published in 1854 as Chicora, and again as American Annual..
