Proost later merged with the firm of Brandt and Son, which prior to the merger, a similar magazine issued under the title Brandt-Vonken ( =FIRE-Sparks). After the merger, the series was continued as PRIKKELS. The purpose of this magazine was to provide a free medium to the customers to show what can be made with paper. Many issues are humoristic magazines., These magazines also often contain information about paper and paper terminology.
