Payment
We accept payment by credit card; i.e.: Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, Switch or Delta. If you wish to pay by cheque the payment needs to be in GBP(£)- UK Sterling. If payment is in any other currency an extra £12.00 needs to be added to the list price to cover our Bank's conversion charges.
Please ensure that we have your card number, expiry date and name and address that pertains to the card. We will also need the 3 digit code from the reverse of your card. Customers will realise that credit card payments are processed at this end in UK pounds sterling and debited to their own accounts at the current rate of exchange.
Return of goods
Every care has been taken with the description of all books listed. However if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. You may return the books promptly for a full refund of the invoice value. We must insist you contact us immediately to let us know of your intentions.
Postage
Postage will be charged extra; for both home and abroad deliveries.
For considerations of time and safety, please contact us. All books are checked, and carefully packed before despatch.
Packages sent to U.K. addresses will go first-class unless otherwise agreed.
Packages sent overseas can be sent by surface-mail or airmail.
If packages are sent via airmail, the package can be insured at the customers expense. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

We trade books according the rules of the I.L.A.B. (International League of Antiquarian Booksellers) of which we are a member. Prices are net. Shipping is not included. We charge shipping costs at the rates of the Belgian Postal Services. In our order confirmation we state the actual costs. Books can be returned within 10 days after delivery with our explicit consent if they do not correspond to the description. As payment we only accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express. or IBAN banktransfer. For orders with a value over 500 EURO other payment methods can be arranged but this needs to be settled when placing the order. Bestelde boeken kunnen teruggestuurd worden binnen 10 dagen indien ze niet overeenstemmen met de beschrijving en na ons expliciet accoord. Nous gérons notre librairie suivant les règles du L.I.L.A. (Ligue Internationale de la Librairie Ancienne), dont nous sommes membre. Les prix sont net. Les frais de port ne sont pas inclus. Nos tarifs pour les envois sont ceux de la Poste Belge. Les frais exacts sont communiqués dans notre acceptation de commande. Un livre commandé peut être retourné s'il ne corresponds pas à la description, seulement dans un délai de dix jours après la réception et avec notre accord explicit. We pack securely in sturdy cardboard cartons and insure all shipments. Books shipped when payment received. Shipments to the U.S.:  Tariffs on any items published outside the U.S. are payable by the recipient.

Return Policy: If your book was misdescribed, your purchase price, including shipping, will be fully refunded when we receive the book back. - Prijzen zijn inclusief BTW, marge regeling v.t.p., deze wordt niet apart vermeld en exclusief porto en verpakkingskosten.
- Verzending geschiedt op risico van de koper.

Herroepingsrecht

U heeft het recht om binnen een termijn van 14 dagen de overeenkomst te herroepen.

De herroepingstermijn verstrijkt 14 dagen na de dag waarop u of een door u aangewezen derde, die niet de vervoerder is, het goed fysiek in bezit krijgt.

via een ondubbelzinnige verklaring (bv. schriftelijk per post, fax of e-mail) op de hoogte stellen van uw beslissing de overeenkomst te herroepen. U kunt hiervoor gebruikmaken van het bijgevoegde modelformulier voor herroeping, maar bent hiertoe niet verplicht.

Om de herroepingstermijn na te leven volstaat het om uw mededeling betreffende uw uitoefening van het herroepingsrecht te verzenden voordat de herroepingstermijn is verstreken.

Gevolgen van de herroeping

All books prices are listed in British Pounds (Pounds Sterling, GBP).

We can accept payment via PayPal.

We can accept payment by cheque, but the cheque must be drawn against a British bank account and must be payable in British Pounds.

Note that where payment by cheque is requested, books will not be dispatched until we have received the cheque and are satisfied that it has cleared.

Where possible, we aim to dispatch books within one working day of receipt of payment, although circumstances may occasionally dictate a slightly slower response.

Our basic postage and packing charges are as follows:
United Kingdom: 3.80 GBP, plus 1.95 GBP for each additional item.
Europe (Airmail): 6.00 GBP, plus 2.45 GBP for each additional item.
Outside Europe (Airmail): 8.20 GPB, plus 3.45 GPB for each additional item.
Outside Europe (Surface Mail): 5.80 GBP, plus 2.45 GBP for each additional item.

Postage will be calculated individually for each order, with regard to the size and weight of the overall package, so the shipping charges above should be considered to be guidelines only.

Destinations within Europe for the purposes of the above rates are:
Andorra, Austria, Azores, Belgium, Canary Islands, Corsica, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Iceland, Irish Republic, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Madeira, Majorca, Malta, Minorca, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Spitsbergen, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican City State.

Approximate delivery times from date of posting:
United Kingdom: Three days.
Europe: Usually within one week.
Outside Europe (Airmail): Usually within ten days.
Outside Europe (Surface): Varies, but allow up to twelve weeks.

Please allow at least the above times to elapse before reporting an order to us as missing in transit.

Charges are based on items with an average weight of around 350g. Where one or more items to be dispatched significantly exceed this weight we may request that the postage charge be increased to cover this. We may, at our discretion, lower the postage charge where the weight of the package is unusually low.

Where books are found by the customer to be not as described a full refund including postage charges will be provided upon return of the items in a timely manner and in the condition in which they were dispatched to the customer.

Where books are returned by the customer for other reasons (e.g. purchased in error) then the purchase cost of the books only will be refunded upon return of the items in a timely manner and in the condition in which they were dispatched to the customer.

In the event of any dispute, the matter shall be governed by United Kingdom law and regulations regarding distance selling.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Al onze boeken zijn in goede tweedehands staat, tenzij anders omschreven. Kleine onvolkomenheden (zoals naam op titelblad of kleine leessporen) worden niet altijd vermeld. Storende beschadigingen, aantekeningen, uitgebreide opdrachten etc. vermelden we doorgaans wel. Informeer bij twijfel naar de staat van het boek.

Verzenden Nederland

Brievenbuspost versturen we via PostNL.
Pakketpost versturen we standaard met DHL.
Andere verzendopties zijn mogelijk op aanvraag.
Voor alle verzendopties gelden de verzendvoorwaarden van het gekozen postbedrijf.
Mocht een verzending mislukken door toedoen of nalatigheid van de ontvanger (denk bijvoorbeeld aan het niet tijdig ophalen van een pakket bij een afhaalpunt) dan zijn voor een volgende verzendpoging opnieuw verzendkosten verschuldigd.


Verzenden buitenland

Bij verzending naar het buitenland kiezen we per geval de beste verzendmethode. Verzending met onder andere PostNL, DHL, Kiala en DPD is mogelijk. Kopers met een voorkeur voor een verzendbedrijf/methode kunnen die melden.

We brengen geen extra verpakkings- of administratiekosten in rekening.

Betaling

Wij vragen betaling vooraf; verzending volgt zo spoedig mogelijk na ontvangst betaling.

Betaalmethoden:

We sturen u standaard een betaallink met keuze uit iDeal, KBC/CBC, Bancontact, Sofort en div. creditcards.

Verder kunt u kiezen voor een reguliere bankoverschrijving en Paypal.

Retourvoorwaarden
Neem altijd eerst contact met ons op.

Boeken kunnen binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, in originele staat, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd worden geretourneerd.

U ontvangt de aankoopsom plus verzendkosten retour.

Retourkosten zijn voor koper.

Als boeken niet voldoen aan de omschrijving zijn (na overleg) ook de retourkosten voor rekening van Boekhandel Louis Tinner.
