If ordering from within the UK the cost is likely to be about GBP5.50, and books will usually arrive in 1-3 working days.
If ordering from Europe airmail will be about GBP12.00 - airmail will usually arrive in 3-7 days.
If ordering from North America, or anywhere outside Europe, airmail is likely to cost about GBP18.00 - airmail generally takes about a week, but customs may cause delays.

Books are sent by the next available postal collection following receipt of payment. We send mail most week days.

Return of goods

I've done my best to state clearly and truthfully the condition of each and every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers, get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. Most orders will ship within one to two business days, but often times, they will go out on the same day as they are ordered. I've based my shipping costs on the assumption of books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized (extra thick, extra long, etc.), I may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Bubble mailers and boxes will be expertly and securely wrapped and monitored. Please contact us if there is anything extra or different you need us to do.

Books are sold net plus a min. $7.99 s&h. Typically, my books are heavier or larger than standard books, and most orders ship at cost + $4 for handling and supplies. I use the United States Post Office for all my shipping. I extend 10% trade discount.

I accept cash, money orders, PAYPAL, VISA, Mastercard, Discover as methods of payment. I also trade on occasion. I am able to extend credit to those institutions which desire to sell or trade duplicates and discards but are not allowed or able to accept cash payments for such material.

Books may be returned if not as described providing they enter the return mail-stream within seven (7) days of arrival and rejection by the customer. Booklets 16 pages and less are not returnable for any reason. Books returned to me outside of these conditions will not be refunded and will not be returned to the original purchaser until the same s&h charges that were originally charged are paid again to facilitate such return. This has only been an issues three times in 19 years, however.

Also, I maintain want lists in these areas, and conduct searches for any title my customers seek, whether in my field of expertise of not. 1. Allgemeines – Geltungsbereich
1.1. Die folgenden Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen gelten für alle Geschäftsbeziehungen zwischen uns und unseren
Kunden. Maßgeblich ist jeweils die zum Zeitpunkt des Vertragsschlusses gültige Fassung.
1.2. Verbraucher i. S. d. Geschäftsbedingungen sind natürliche Personen, mit denen wir in Geschäftsbeziehung treten,
ohne daß diesen eine gewerbliche oder selbständige berufliche Tätigkeit zugerechnet werden kann. Unternehmer i. S. d.
Geschäftsbedingungen sind natürliche oder juristische Personen oder rechtsfähige Personengesellschaften, mit denen wir
in Geschäftsbeziehungen treten und die in Ausübung einer gewerblichen oder selbständigen beruflichen Tätigkeit
handeln. Kunde i. s. d. Geschäftsbedingungen sind sowohl Verbraucher als auch Unternehmer.
1.3. Abweichende, entgegenstehende oder ergänzende Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen werden, selbst bei Kenntnis,
nicht Vertragsbestandteil, es sei denn, ihrer Geltung wird ausdrücklich schriftlich zugestimmt.
2. Vertragsschluß
2.1. Unsere Angebote sind freibleibend und stehen unter der Bedingung, daß das Produkt unsererseits noch vorrätig oder
lieferbar ist.
2.2. Mit der Bestellung erklärt der Kunde verbindlich sein Vertragsangebot. Wir werden den Zugang der Bestellung des
Kunden bestätigen. Die Zugangsbestätigung stellt noch keine verbindliche Annahme der Bestellung dar. Die
Zugangsbestätigung kann mit der Annahmeerklärung verbunden werden.
2.3. Wir sind berechtigt, das in der Bestellung liegende Vertragsangebot innerhalb von sieben Werktagen nach Eingang bei
uns anzunehmen. Wir sind berechtigt, die Annahme der Bestellung - etwa nach Prüfung der Bonität des Kunden -
abzulehnen.
3. Eigentumsvorbehalt
3.1. Bei Verbrauchern behalten wir uns das Eigentum an der Ware bis zur vollständigen Zahlung des Kaufpreises vor. Bei
Unternehmern behalten wir uns das Eigentum an der Ware bis zur vollständigen Begleichung aller Forderungen aus einer
laufenden Geschäftsbeziehung vor.
3.2. Wir sind berechtigt, bei vertragswidrigem Verhalten des Kunden, insbesondere bei Zahlungsverzug vom Vertrag
zurückzutreten und die Ware herauszuverlangen.
4. Widerrufsbelehrung
Ihnen als Verbraucher (jede natürliche Person, die ein Rechtsgeschäft zu einem Zwecke abschließt, der weder ihrer
gewerblichen noch ihrer selbständigen beruflichen Tätigkeit zugerechnet werden kann) steht in Bezug auf den gekauften
Artikel ein Widerrufsrecht nach Maßgabe der folgenden Belehrung zu:

Folgen des Widerrufs
Wenn Sie diesen Vertrag widerrufen, haben wir Ihnen alle Zahlungen, die wir von Ihnen erhalten haben, einschließlich der

die von uns angebotene, günstigste Standardlieferung gewählt haben) unverzüglich und spätestens binnen vierzehn Tagen
ab dem Tag zurückzuzahlen, an dem die Mitteilung über Ihren Widerruf dieses Vertrags bei uns eingegangen ist. Für diese Rückzahlung verwenden wir dasselbe Zahlungsmittel, das Sie bei der ursprünglichen Transaktion eingesetzt haben, es sei
denn, mit Ihnen wurde ausdrücklich etwas anderes vereinbart; in keinem Fall werden Ihnen wegen dieser Rückzahlung
Entgelte berechnet. Wir können die Rückzahlung verweigern, bis wir die Waren wieder zurückerhalten haben oder bis Sie
den Nachweis erbracht haben, dass Sie die Waren zurückgesandt haben, je nachdem, welches der frühere Zeitpunkt ist.
Sie haben die Waren unverzüglich und in jedem Fall spätestens binnen vierzehn Tagen ab dem Tag, an dem Sie uns über
den Widerruf dieses Vertrags unterrichten, an uns zurückzusenden oder zu übergeben. Die Frist ist gewahrt, wenn Sie die
Waren vor Ablauf der Frist von vierzehn Tagen absenden.
Sie tragen die unmittelbaren Kosten der Rücksendung der Waren. Sie müssen für einen etwaigen Wertverlust der Waren
nur aufkommen, wenn dieser Wertverlust auf einen zur Prüfung der Beschaffenheit, Eigenschaften und Funktionsweise
der Waren nicht notwendigen Umgang mit ihnen zurückzuführen ist.
Ende der Widerrufsbelehrung
5. Vergütung
5.1. Der angebotene Preis ist bindend. Die im Rahmen der Artikelbeschreibung angegebenen Preise verstehen sich in Euro
einschließlich der jeweils gültigen gesetzlichen Mehrwertsteuer. Hinzu kommen die jeweils zusätzlich in der
Artikelübersicht und im Rahmen des Bestellvorgangs angegebenen Kosten für Verpackung und Versand. Der Versand
erfolgt mit der Deutschen Post oder DHL. Dem Kunden entstehen bei Bestellung durch Nutzung der
Fernkommunikationsmittel keine zusätzlichen Kosten. Der Kunde kann den Preis per Nachnahme, Rechnung oder
Kreditkarte leisten. Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, einzelne Zahlungsarten auszuschließen.
5.2 Der Kunde verpflichtet sich, nach Erhalt der Leistung innerhalb von 14 Tagen den Preis zu zahlen. Nach Ablauf dieser
Frist kommt der Kunde in Zahlungsverzug. Der Verbraucher hat während des Verzugs die Geldschuld in Höhe von 5 % über
dem Basiszinssatz zu verzinsen. Der Unternehmer hat während des Verzugs die Geldschuld in Höhe von 8 % über dem
Basiszinssatz zu verzinsen. Gegenüber dem Unternehmer behalten wir uns vor, einen höheren Verzugszinsschaden
nachzuweisen und geltend zu machen.
5.3. Der Kunde hat ein Recht zur Aufrechnung nur, wenn seine Gegenansprüche rechtskräftig festgestellt wurden und
oder durch uns anerkannt wurden. Der Kunde kann ein Zurückbehaltungsrecht nur ausüben, wenn sein Gegenanspruch
auf demselben Vertragsverhältnis beruht.
6. Gefahrübergang
6.1. Bei Verbrauchern geht die Gefahr des zufälligen Untergangs und der zufälligen Verschlechterung der verkauften Ware
auch beim Versendungskauf mit der Übergabe der Ware auf diesen über.
6.2. Bei Unternehmern geht die Gefahr des zufälligen Untergangs und der zufälligen Verschlechterung der Ware mit der
Auslieferung der Ware an den Spediteur, den Frachtführer oder der sonst zur Ausführung der Versendung bestimmten
Person oder Anstalt auf den Unternehmer über. Der Übergabe steht es gleich, wenn der Kunde im Verzug der Annahme
ist.
7. Gewährleistung und Haftungsbeschränkung
7.1.Dem Kunden steht ein gesetzliches Mängelhaftungsrecht zu.
Bei gebrauchten Sachen beträgt die Gewährleistungsfrist abweichend von der gesetzlichen
Regelung ein Jahr ab Ablieferung der Ware. Diese einjährige Gewährleistungsfrist gilt nicht
für dem Verkäufer zurechenbare schuldhaft verursachte Schäden aus der Verletzung des
Lebens, des Körpers oder der Gesundheit und grob fahrlässig oder vorsätzlich verursachte
Schäden bzw. Arglist des Verkäufers, sowie bei Rückgriffsansprüchen gemäß §§ 478, 479
BGB.
7.2 Haftungsbeschränkung: Die Haftung des Verkäufers für leicht fahrlässige Pflichtverletzungen ist ausgeschlossen, sofern
keine wesentliche Vertragspflichten (Pflichten, deren Erfüllung die ordnungsgemäße Durchführung des Vertrages erst
ermöglicht, deren Verletzung die Erreichung des Vertragszwecks gefährdet und auf deren Einhaltung Sie als Kunde
regelmäßig vertrauen), Schäden aus der Verletzung des Lebens, des Körpers oder der Gesundheit, Garantien für die
Beschaffenheit des Kaufgegenstandes oder auch Ansprüche nach dem Produkthaftungsgesetz betroffen sind. Das gilt auch
für entsprechende Pflichtverletzungen der Erfüllungsgehilfen des Verkäufers. Dabei ist die Haftung auf den Schaden
begrenzt, mit dem vertragstypisch gerechnet werden muss. Für Vorsatz und grobe Fahrlässigkeit gilt die
Haftungsbeschränkung nicht. Im Internet-Antiquariat werden Bücher, Zeitschriften, etc. verkauft, die auf Grund ihres
Alters Gebrauchsspuren aufweisen, welche im jeweiligen Verkaufspreis bereits angemessen mindernd berücksichtigt sind.
Die Waren werden insofern ausschließlich in den in unserem jeweils aktuellen Online-Katalog angegebenen Ausführungen
geliefert.
7.3 Als Verbraucher werden Sie gebeten, die Ware bei Lieferung umgehend auf Vollständigkeit, offensichtliche Mängel
und Transportschäden zu überprüfen und Beanstandungen dem Verkäufer und dem Spediteur schnellstmöglich
mitzuteilen. Ihre Gewährleistungsansprüche bleiben hiervon unberührt.7.4 Soweit Sie Verbraucher sind, geht die Gefahr des zufälligen Untergangs und der zufälligen Verschlechterung der

verfassungswidriger Bestrebungen, der Kunst oder der Wissenschaft, der Forschung oder der Lehre, der Berichterstattung
über Vorgänge des Zeitgeschehens oder der Geschichte oder Ähnlichem erwirbt.
10. Schlußbestimmungen
10.1. Es gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Bei Verbrauchern, die den Vertrag nicht zu beruflichen oder
gewerblichen Zwecken abschließen, gilt diese Rechtswahl nur insoweit, als nicht der gewährte Schutz durch zwingende
Bestimmungen des Rechts des Staates, in dem der Verbraucher seinen gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt hat, entzogen wird. Die
Bestimmungen des UN-Kaufrechts finden keine Anwendung. Die Vertragssprache ist deutsch.
10.2. Ist der Kunde Kaufmann, juristische Person des öffentlichen Rechts oder öffentlich-rechtliches Sondervermögen, ist
ausschließlicher Gerichtsstand für alle Streitigkeiten aus diesem Vertrag unser Geschäftssitz. Dasselbe gilt, wenn der
Kunde keinen allgemeinen Gerichtsstand in Deutschland hat oder Wohnsitz oder gewöhnlicher Aufenthalt zum Zeitpunkt
der Klageerhebung nicht bekannt sind.
10.3. Sollten einzelne Bestimmungen des Vertrags mit dem Kunden einschließlich dieser Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingung
ganz oder teilweise unwirksam sein oder werden, so wird hierdurch die Gültigkeit der übrigen Bestimmungen nicht

Herroepingsrecht

Alle boeken zijn compleet en de conditie van het boek wordt als volgt aan geduid:
Gaaf = als nieuw;
Zeer goed = geen noemenswaardige gebreken, ook geen naam op schutblad;
Goed = lichte gebreken zoals: minimale leesvouwen, lichte beschadiging omslag, verkleuring, naam op schutblad etc.;
Redelijk = duidelijk gelezen en gebruikt exemplaar: vouwen, onderstreping, schuingelezen, ezelsoren, etc.

Alle conditionele gebreken worden altijd beschreven.

Prijzen zijn netto, in euro en exclusief porto.

Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden.

Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper.

Elke aankoop kan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden. Wel dient u aan Antiqbook door te geven dat u een zending retour zendt, waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt. Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten en retourporto terugbetaald. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.
