Following conditions of sale apply:
Terms of Sale

All books are in good condition, unless otherwise stated. Negligible defects, which can be considered as normal for antiquarian books, are not always mentioned.
Prices are in Euro incl. VAT and excl. postage and encashment costs. Despatch will be executed at the best possible way, generally by standard postparcels. Air shipment only on client's request. Seller reserves the right to register or insure the parcel at buyer's expense. Shipment is at seller's risk.
Payments by giro- or bank transfer to our bank account. We also accept Visa- or Mastercard payment by PayPal.
Orders per e-mail, telephone or regular mail will be executed in sequence of arrival. You receive soonest possible a statement of the available books and the amount involved, including the costs. Despatch only by prepayment.
Books that do not match our description can be returned within a week after receipt and after previous consentment. Returns for other reasons also after previous consultation and within a week after receipt.
Books remain our property until full payment is received.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Alle boeken zijn in goede staat, tenzij anders aangegeven. Kleinere onvolkomenheden, die als gewoon voor een antiquarische boek kunnen worden beschouwd, worden niet altijd genoemd.
Prijzen zijn in euro, incl. BTW en excl. verzend- en bankkosten (indien van toepassing). Verzending geschiedt voor rekening van cliënt op zo voordelig mogelijke wijze, meestal per (pakket)post. Luchtpostverzending uitsluitend op aanvraag van cliënt. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen op kosten van koper te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. Verzending is voor risico van verkoper
Bestellingen kunnen schriftelijk, per fax, e-mail of telefoon worden geplaatst en worden op volgorde van binnenkomst afgehandeld. U ontvangt zo spoedig mogelijk een opgave van de beschikbare boeken en de kosten. Levering geschiedt bij vooruitbetaling.
Betaling per giro- of bankoverschrijving. Visa- en Mastercardbetalingen kunnen geaccepteerd worden via PayPal.
Boeken die niet aan de beschrijving voldoen kunnen binnen een week na ontvangst en na voorafgaand overleg worden geretourneerd. Retourzendingen om andere redenen eveneens na voorafgaand overleg en binnen een week na ontvangst.
Boeken blijven ons eigendom tot volledige betaling is ontvangen.

We endeavour to describe our books accurately, but if you are dissatisfied in any way on receipt of order or wish to cancel the contract for any reason within 7 days, which period is to start the day after the date on which the goods are received, in which case please contact us to arrange the return and refund of the cost of the goods and delivery.

Cheques drawn on UK only, Paypal, and UK postal orders. International money orders and cheques from countries other than the UK or US can not be accepted.

All books have a 2 week no quibble returns policy. Email us within 2 weeks to say you wish to return a book. Full refund given when book is returned.

1. The books are complete and in good condition, unless otherwise stated. New books are new. For antiquarian books may have small imperfections, such as a stamp, a dedication, name on the endpaper or minor damage that are normal for used books are not always mentioned.
2. The prices of the books include 9 percent sales tax (VAT), unless stated otherwise. The prices of books stated on this Internet site are subject to change for whatever reason.
3a. The books are delivered against payment in advance. Institutions, libraries and well-known customers can be supplied with an invoice.
3b. Orders from abroad must always be paid in advance, either to a bank account to be specified by Scriptum Art, or via PayPal, where all credit cards are accepted.
4a. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
4b. The sending of ordered books is at the risk of the Scriptum Art. It reserves the right to insure the goods and/or to send them by registered mail. The shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
5a. The buyer must identify himself with a complete address.
5b. The buyer has the obligation to examine whether the products comply with the agreement upon delivery. If this is not the case, he must inform Scriptum Art of this in writing within 14 days. After the expiry of this period, the buyer is deemed to have accepted the goods.
5c. If the buyer does not wish to purchase a product for whatever reason, he has the right, after consultation, to return the product to Scriptum Art within 14 days after delivery. Returns are only accepted if the product is in the same condition as it was sent to the buyer. The risk and costs for return shipments are for the account of the buyer.
6. The goods delivered by Scriptum Art remain its property until all claims of Scriptum Art have been paid in full. The risk in respect of the goods is transferred at the time of delivery.

1. De boeken zijn compleet en in goede staat, tenzij anders vermeld. Kleine onvolkomenheden, zoals een stempel, een opdracht, naam op het schutblad of lichte beschadigingen die normaal zijn voor gebruikte boeken zijn niet altijd vermeld.
2. De prijzen van de boeken zijn inclusief 9 procent omzetbelasting (BTW.), tenzij anders is vermeld. De prijzen van boeken die op deze Internet-site zijn vermeld zijn onder voorbehoud van wijziging, om welke reden dan ook.
3a. De boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan eventueel met een factuur geleverd worden.
3b. Bestellingen uit het buitenland dienen altijd vooraf te worden betaald hetzij op een door Scriptum Art aan te geven bankrekening, hetzij via PayPal, waar alle creditcards geaccepteerd worden.
4a. Verzendingskosten komen voor rekening van de koper.
4b. Het verzenden van bestelde boeken is voor risico van de Scriptum Art. Zij behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De verzendkosten zijn voor rekening van de koper.
5a. De koper dient zich met een volledig adres bekend te maken.
5b. De koper heeft de verplichting om bij aflevering te onderzoeken of de producten aan de overeenkomst beantwoorden. Indien dit niet het geval is, dient hij Scriptum Art daarvan binnen 14 dagen schriftelijk in kennis te stellen. Na het verstrijken van deze termijn wordt de koper geacht de goederen te hebben aanvaard.
5c. Indien koper een product om welke reden dan ook niet wenst af te nemen, heeft hij het recht, na overleg, het product binnen 14 dagen na aflevering aan Scriptum Art te retourneren. Retourzendingen worden uitsluitend geaccepteerd indien het product zich in dezelfde staat bevindt als waarin het aan de koper verzonden is. Het risico en de kosten voor retourzendingen zijn voor rekening van koper.
6. De door Scriptum Art geleverde goederen blijven haar eigendom totdat alle vorderingen van Scriptum Art volledig zijn betaald. Het risico ter zake van de goederen gaat over op het moment van levering.

Conditions de Vente

1. Les livres sont complets et en bon état, sauf indication contraire. Les nouveaux livres sont nouveaux. Car les livres anciens peuvent avoir de petites imperfections, comme un tampon, une dédicace, un nom sur la page de garde ou des dommages mineurs qui sont normaux pour les livres d'occasion ne sont pas toujours mentionnés.
2. Les prix des livres incluent la taxe de vente de 9 pour cent (TVA), sauf indication contraire. Les prix des livres indiqués sur ce site Internet sont susceptibles de changer pour quelque raison que ce soit.
3a. Les livres sont livrés contre paiement d'avance. Les institutions, les bibliothèques et les clients connus peuvent être fournis avec une facture.
3b. Les commandes en provenance de l'étranger doivent toujours être payées à l'avance, soit sur un compte bancaire à préciser par Scriptum Art, soit via PayPal, où toutes les cartes de crédit sont acceptées.
4a. Les frais d'expédition sont à la charge de l'acheteur.
4b. L'envoi des livres commandés se fait aux risques et périls du Scriptum Art. Elle se réserve le droit d'assurer les marchandises et/ou de les envoyer par courrier recommandé. Les frais de port sont à la charge de l'acheteur.

5a. L'acheteur doit s'identifier avec une adresse complète.
5b. L'acheteur a l'obligation d'examiner si les produits sont conformes au contrat lors de la livraison. Si tel n'est pas le cas, il doit en informer Scriptum Art par écrit dans un délai de 14 jours. Passé ce délai, l'acheteur est réputé avoir accepté la marchandise.
5c. Si l'acheteur ne souhaite pas acheter un produit pour quelque raison que ce soit, il a le droit, après consultation, de retourner le produit à Scriptum Art dans les 14 jours suivant la livraison. Les retours ne sont acceptés que si le produit est dans le même état qu'il a été envoyé à l'acheteur. Les risques et frais de retour sont à la charge de l'acheteur.
6. Les marchandises livrées par Scriptum Art restent sa propriété jusqu'au paiement intégral de toutes les créances de Scriptum Art. Le risque sur les marchandises est transféré au moment de la livraison.

We accept payment through Paypal, which facilitates payment through most credit cards and cash accounts. Checks or money orders in $US and drawn on US banks are readily accepted, too.

We guarantee books as described; images can be supplied for all books before the order. Books may be returned within two weeks of receipt. Unless the book is clearly not as described refund will be made for the book price only.

Shipping within the U.S. is ordinarily through U.S. Postal Media Mail at a cost of $3, but we can accommodate UPS, FedEx, Priority Mail, or Express Mail all at extra cost. International shipping is by U.S. Postal Air or Priority Mail. Surface or Economy shipping is no longer available to us. Packages over 4 pounds must ship Priority.
