We trade books according the rules of the I.L.A.B. (International League of Antiquarian Booksellers) of which we are a member. Prices are net. Shipping is not included. We charge shipping costs at the rates of the Belgian Postal Services. In our order confirmation we state the actual costs. Books can be returned within 10 days after delivery with our explicit consent if they do not correspond to the description. Books are sold net plus a min. $7.99 s&h. Typically, my books are heavier or larger than standard books, and most orders ship at cost + $4 for handling and supplies. I use the United States Post Office for all my shipping. I extend 10% trade discount.

I accept cash, money orders, PAYPAL, VISA, Mastercard, Discover as methods of payment. I also trade on occasion. I am able to extend credit to those institutions which desire to sell or trade duplicates and discards but are not allowed or able to accept cash payments for such material.

Books may be returned if not as described providing they enter the return mail-stream within seven (7) days of arrival and rejection by the customer. Booklets 16 pages and less are not returnable for any reason. Books returned to me outside of these conditions will not be refunded and will not be returned to the original purchaser until the same s&h charges that were originally charged are paid again to facilitate such return. This has only been an issues three times in 19 years, however.

Also, I maintain want lists in these areas, and conduct searches for any title my customers seek, whether in my field of expertise of not. I buy and sell collections and libraries of books in the topic areas listed above and offer collection development service. Books are available for viewing by appointment. I am located in the scenic Amish Country of Lancaster County, PA, 90 minutes from Philadelphia, 2 hours from Washington, DC and 4 hours from New York City.

Alle conditionele gebreken worden altijd beschreven.

Prijzen zijn netto, in euro en exclusief porto.

Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden.

Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper.

Elke aankoop kan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden. Refunds: Money refunded if notified within 7 days of receipt; book must be returned in condition sent. If book is as described, and returned for some other reason, than all shipping will be paid by buyer and only book price will be refunded, upon return receipt of book. If I made an error all costs, including shipping both ways, will be refunded. I try to be extremely thorough and honest in my book descriptions, but....people are people and on rare occasions an error or oversight can occur. In such a case, I always make good on MY mistake; you are not stuck paying for my mistake.

Packaging: I use clean, recycled materials whenever possible, to reduce expenses. I pack books very thoroughly, so that they survive the vagaries of the US and international postal systems in good order; arriving safely, and as described. For US domestic orders, I use USPS Delivery Confirmation forms on all books, shipped in US, others when possible; these provide a handy tracking mechanism which I share with the purchaser.

Shipping Prices: I endeavor to ship same day as payment is made when possible Monday through Friday.
Shipping prices are as close as possible to actual cost of postage and materials. I do not try to profit on shipping, merely to cover my actual costs. I have no control over the shipping rates set by US Postal Service, and charge what they charge.

Domestic [USA] shipping times are approximate: 3-6 business days for priority, 5-20 business days for media mail [I have recently been informed that media mail can now take from 30-45 days. You will have tracking information so you can follow it. For shipments to Hawaii and Alaska, as well as any US Territories or other US Mail recipients, media mail delivery time can range from 4-24 weeks, Air/Priority 5-10 business days. I ship domestic orders with a "Delivery Confirmation" on them.

Express Shipping:
Price quoted upon ordering. Buyer must supply a zip code + 4 for shipping; this type of zip code [9 digit total] is required by the Post Office.
Foreign orders: typically, but not always, 5-15 business days for air. Since May 2007, surface shipping is no longer be available--the US Postal Service has eliminated this option. All international orders will now be shipped by airmail. I have no control over the package once I mail it, and customs officials/departments in the receiving country can greatly delay the delivery time. You will receive the customs numbers upon shipping. I ship books daily Monday thru Friday. Shipping days are counted as business/working days; they do not include holidays and weekends.
Express mail fees start at: eps. 44.95, medium box 79.95 again ask for postal quote if the book is oversized or heavy.

All books are in good condition, unless otherwise stated. Minor defects like stamps on the endsheat or a few underlinings are not always mentioned. Prices are in Euro and inclusive of VAT. Orders should normally be paid in advance, in other cases they have to be paid within two weeks of deliverance. Risk of shipment is for the seller. Seller is (after consultation with the buyer) entitled to ensure the goods or send them by certified mail. Costs will be for the buyer.
Orders can be returned within seven days (preferably announced by e-mail) for refund of purchase price (shipment costs excluded). Books have to be returned in condition sent. The risk of return shipment is for the buyer.
