All books are described as accurately as possible, and every effort is made to dispatch orders the same working day if ordered before 1pm. Books are not invoiced until dispatch. Payment is required before books will be sent. A 10% discount is given to all bona fide dealers.

All books are complete and the condition of the book will be indicated as follows:
Fine = as new
Very good = no significant flaws
Good = small flaws (e.g.: slight damage to cover, name on title page, faded colors, yellowish pages, etc.)
Reasonable = clearly read and used copy (e.g.: heavy folds, underlining, creases, etc.)
If a book has the qualification 'reasonable' the flaws will always be described. For the qualification 'good' a description will be given if necessary.
Names on title pages will not be mentioned. If a book has the qualification 'fine' it will of course not have names or ex libris in it.

If the measures of the book are mentioned it will always be hight first and then width (in centimeters). Oblong for example will not be mentioned separately.

Prices are net and in euro's. Postage and bank- or check transfer costs will be charged at cost price. Before finalizing the order you will first receive an e-mail stating the total costs of the transaction.

Books will be delivered at payment in advance. For companies, libraries and regular customers separate arrangements can be made.

Payment can be arranged by giro-transfer.

Books delivered will remain the property of the seller until full payment has been received.

Sending of the ordered books is for the risk of the seller. Seller has the right to insure goods or to send them by registered mail. The sub sequential costs will be charged to the account of the buyer after consulting the buyer.

Each purchase can be returned to the seller within 14 days after reception, without explanation (an e-mail to notify the seller would be appreciated however), after which the billed amount (excluding postage costs) will be restituted to the buyer. Verkoopvoorwaarden

Alle boeken zijn compleet en de conditie van het boek wordt als volgt aan geduid:
Gaaf = als nieuw
Zeer goed = geen noemenswaardige gebreken
Goed = lichte gebreken zoals: minimale leesvouwen, lichte beschadiging omslag, verkleuring, etc.)
Redelijk = duidelijk gelezen en gebruikt exemplaar (vouwen, onderstreping, schuingelezen, ezelsoren, etc.)
Als een boek de kwalificatie ‘redelijk’ heeft gekregen wordt altijd vermeld wat dan het gebrek is en bij de kwalificatie ‘goed’ wordt een omschrijving gegeven als dit nodig is.
Namen op schutblad worden niet vermeld. Bij een gaaf boek staat er vanzelfsprekend geen naam op het schutblad.

Als er maten genoemd worden dan altijd eerst de hoogte van het boek en dan de breedte. Oblong formaten worden dus niet apart vermeld.

Prijzen zijn netto en in euro. Porto en bank- en chequekosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend. U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email.

Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan eventueel op rekening worden geleverd.

Betaling kan geschieden via giro-overschrijving.

Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden.

Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden na overleg doorberekend aan de koper.

Elke aankoop kan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt. Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten en retourporto terugbetaald. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.

§ 2 Vertragsschluss
(1) Die Warenpräsentation im Online-Shop stellt keinen verbindlichen Antrag auf den Abschluss eines Kaufvertrages dar. Vielmehr handelt es sich um eine unverbindliche Aufforderung, im Online-Shop Waren zu bestellen.

§ 3 Preise
Die auf den Produktseiten genannten Preise enthalten die gesetzliche Mehrwertsteuer und sonstige Preisbestandteile und verstehen sich zzgl. der jeweiligen Versandkosten. (2) Die Auswahl der jeweils verfügbaren Bezahlmethoden obliegt uns. Wir behalten uns insbesondere vor, Ihnen für die Bezahlung nur ausgewählte Bezahlmethoden anzubieten, beispielweise zur Absicherung unseres Kreditrisikos nur Vorkasse.

(3) Bei Auswahl der Zahlungsart Vorkasse nennen wir Ihnen unsere Bankverbindung in der Auftragsbestätigung. Der Rechnungsbetrag ist innerhalb von 10 Tagen nach Erhalt der Auftragsbestätigung auf unser Konto zu überweisen.

(4) Bei Zahlung per Nachnahme wird eine zusätzliche Gebühr in Höhe von [X] EUR fällig, die der Zusteller vor Ort erhebt. Weitere Kosten und Steuern fallen nicht an.

(6) Bei der Bezahlung mit PayPal werden Sie im Bestellprozess auf die Webseite des Online-Anbieters PayPal weitergeleitet. Um den Rechnungsbetrag über PayPal bezahlen zu können, müssen Sie dort registriert sein bzw. sich erst registrieren, mit Ihren Zugangsdaten legitimieren und die Zahlungsanweisung an uns bestätigen. Nach Abgabe der Bestellung im Shop fordern wir PayPal zur Einleitung der Zahlungstransaktion auf. Weitere Hinweise erhalten Sie beim Bestellvorgang. Die Zahlungstransaktion wird durch PayPal unmittelbar danach automatisch durchgeführt.

(7) Bei Zahlung per Lastschrift haben Sie ggf. jene Kosten zu tragen, die infolge

einer Rückbuchung einer Zahlungstransaktion mangels Kontodeckung oder aufgrund von Ihnen falsch übermittelter Daten der Bankverbindung entstehen.

(8) Geraten Sie mit einer Zahlung in Verzug, so sind Sie zur Zahlung der gesetzlichen Verzugszinsen in Höhe von 5 Prozentpunkten über dem Basiszinssatz verpflichtet. Für jedes Mahnschreiben, das nach Eintritt des Verzugs an Sie versandt wird, wird Ihnen eine Mahngebühr in Höhe von 2,50 EUR berechnet, sofern nicht im Einzelfall ein niedrigerer bzw. höherer Schaden nachgewiesen wird.

§ 5 Aufrechnung/Zurückbehaltungsrecht
(1) Ein Recht zur Aufrechnung steht Ihnen nur dann zu, wenn Ihre Gegen-forderung rechtskräftig festgestellt worden ist, von uns nicht bestritten oder anerkannt wird oder in einem engen synallagmatischen Verhältnis zu unserer Forderung steht.

(2) Sie können ein Zurückbehaltungsrecht nur ausüben, soweit Ihre Gegen-forderung auf demselben Vertragsverhältnis beruht.

§ 6 Lieferung; Eigentumsvorbehalt
(1) Sofern nicht anders vereinbart, erfolgt die Lieferung der Ware von unserem Lager an die von Ihnen angegebene Adresse.

(2) Die Ware bleibt bis zur vollständigen Zahlung des Kaufpreises unser Eigentum.

(3) Wir sind ausnahmsweise nicht zur Lieferung der bestellten Ware verpflichtet, wenn wir die Ware unsererseits ordnungsgemäß bestellt haben, jedoch nicht richtig oder rechtzeitig beliefert wurden (kongruentes Deckungsgeschäft). Voraussetzung ist, dass wir die fehlende Warenverfügbarkeit nicht zu vertreten haben und Sie über diesen Umstand unverzüglich informiert haben. Zudem dürfen wir nicht das Risiko der Beschaffung der bestellten Ware übernommen haben. Bei entsprechender Nichtverfügbarkeit der Ware werden wir Ihnen bereits geleistete Zahlungen unverzüglich erstatten. Das Risiko, eine bestellte Ware besorgen zu müssen (Beschaffungsrisiko), übernehmen wir nicht. Dies gilt auch bei der Bestellung von Waren, die nur ihrer Art und ihren Merkmalen nach beschrieben ist (Gattungswaren). Wir sind nur zur Lieferung aus unserem Warenvorrat und der von uns bei unseren Lieferanten bestellten Waren verpflichtet.

(4) Wenn Sie Unternehmer im Sinne des § 14 BGB sind, gilt ergänzend Folgendes:

- Wir behalten uns das Eigentum an der Ware bis zum vollständigen Ausgleich aller Forderungen aus der laufenden Geschäftsbeziehung vor. Vor Übergang des Eigentums an der Vorbehaltsware ist eine Verpfändung oder Sicherheitsübereignung nicht zulässig.

Rechnungsbetrages, die Ihnen aus dem Weiterverkauf erwachsen, an uns ab. Wir nehmen die Abtretung an, Sie sind jedoch zur Einziehung der Forderungen ermächtigt. Soweit Sie Ihren Zahlungsverpflichtungen nicht ordnungsgemäß nachkommen, behalten wir uns das Recht vor, Forderungen selbst einzuziehen.
- Bei Verbindung und Vermischung der Vorbehaltsware erwerben wir Miteigentum an der neuen Sache im Verhältnis des Rechnungswertes der Vorbehaltsware zu den anderen verarbeiteten Gegenständen zum Zeitpunkt der Verarbeitung.
- Wir verpflichteten uns, die uns zustehenden Sicherheiten auf Verlangen insoweit freizugeben, als der realisierbare Wert unserer Sicherheiten die zu sichernden Forderungen um mehr als 10 % übersteigt. Die Auswahl der freizugebenden Sicherheiten obliegt uns.
§ 7 Widerrufsbelehrung
Für den Fall, dass Sie Verbraucher im Sinne des § 13 BGB sind, also den Kauf zu Zwecken tätigen, die überwiegend weder Ihrer gewerblichen noch Ihrer selbständigen beruflichen Tätigkeit zugerechnet werden können, haben Sie ein Widerrufsrecht nach Maßgabe der folgenden Bestimmungen.

Folgen des Widerrufs
Wenn Sie diesen Vertrag widerrufen, haben wir Ihnen alle Zahlungen, die wir von Ihnen erhalten haben, einschließlich der Lieferkosten (mit Ausnahme der zusätzlichen Kosten, die sich daraus ergeben, dass Sie eine andere Art der Lieferung als die von uns angebotene, günstigste Standardlieferung gewählt haben), unverzüglich und spätestens binnen vierzehn Tagen ab dem Tag zurückzuzahlen, an dem die Mitteilung über Ihren Widerruf dieses Vertrags bei uns eingegangen ist. Le Flaneur prefers and strives to remain as a physical establishment rather than an online seller, and its loyalty lies with frequenters and chance visitors. Thus, in principle, books are cheaper in the shop, and a select and increasing part of the collection is not available for distance selling. Le Flaneur also recommends to buy local, physical, and loyal, since he believes every act including the act of buying (or not buying for that matter) is political which deserves consideration and reflection.

Books may be returned within 14 days of receipt, if returned in the same condition as sent, and packed, shipped and insured as received. We will refund the shipping costs of a return shipment only if our descriptions were not correct.
Prices are in Euro. Postage and insurance are not included. All books are in good antiquarian condition, unless otherwise described.
Pre-payment is necessary for new customers. Our order confirmation will provide information. Customers who are known to us and Libraries will be invoiced as usual (invoices payable within 30 days).

Prices are quoted in Euro and do not include VAT (6%).
Shipping charges are by weight and equal to the value of postage. Billing is based on shipping with barcode. For fully insured delivery customers should request registered postage.
For orders below euro 15 an extra charge of euro 1 is applied
Normally you will be billed in advance; books are shipped within 2 days after receipt of payment, unless agreed otherwise.

Books are offered if unsold. We try to describe the state of the books precisely. Minor defects such as a name on first page, ex libris stamp, minimal wear or annotations are not always mentioned.
Orders can be done via e-mail (info@thelandofnod.be), not by telephone.
