Shipping for the average book is $7.50 within the USA and $50 outside the US. Oversized books, multi-volume sets or other unusual items will cost more. Priority/expedited shipping is available and starts at $15 within the USA.

Return policy;

The books are complete and in good second hand condition, unless otherwise stated.
Prices are quoted in Euro and do not include VAT (6%).
Shipping charges are by weight and equal to the value of postage. Billing is based on shipping with barcode. For fully insured delivery customers should request registered postage.
For orders below euro 15 an extra charge of euro 1 is applied
Normally you will be billed in advance; books are shipped within 2 days after receipt of payment, unless agreed otherwise.
Books may be returned for a refund within 1 week of delivery; all costs of mailing are charged to the customer, however, unless the description of the book was incorrect.
For customers within the European Community we prefer payment by bank to bank transfer.
For customers from outside the EC we prefer payment by Visa or Mastercard or Paypal.
Payment can also be maid through Western Union Money Wire, Moneygram, or by sending cash (registered)

You may pay for your purchases in a variety of ways, but before placing your order please check on the availability of your chosen items - simply e-mail or telephone us first.
Payment Options
We can accept payment in the following ways:
- By cheque drawn on a UK Bank in sterling (GBP) made payable to 'V Waring' and sent to Mrs V Waring, The Cottage, Church Lane, Great Hallingbury, Essex, CM22 7UA, UK.
- Postal Order (UK customers)
- Sterling Bank Cheque or Eurocheque (Overseas customers)
By Pay Pal. Please note that we do not issue invoices prior to payment on Paypal. When an order is placed for payment by Paypal we will email a total amount to you. You will need to activate payment by going to our Pay Pal address which is waringval@outlook.com. Upon receipt we will send the book out with a receipted invoice.

- We will process orders and mail your book(s), well packaged – in most cases within one day of receiving your payment (subject to clearance on cheques for larger amounts).
Despatch Cost and Delivery Times
All postage costs are based on the weight of the books ordered and the destination. All deliveries in the UK are sent via Royal Mail and are normally delivered in 2-3 days but please allow up to 7 days particularly at busy times. Post Brexit I am afraid we no long ship outside the UK.
Returns Policy
Customers can buy books from us in confidence since any book may be returned to us for a full refund of its price. Customers are requested to pay for return postage unless, for example, our description of its condition was in error.
Your Cancellation Rights
You may cancel your order before the delivery or within seven working days after the date of delivery by contacting our customer service team either by email at orders@stortbooks.com or by telephoning 07979 450871 quoting your order number. We will refund you the cost of your unwanted books and our delivery charges.
If you cancel your order within seven working days after the date of delivery, you must return the unwanted books to us in their original packaging at your risk and at your cost within thirty days of delivery. Provided you return the books in the original packaging within thirty days of delivery, we will refund with the cost of the returned book and our delivery charges within thirty days of the date of cancellation.

Quality of Goods
The condition of books sold by us are listed as follows:
MINT: like new
FINE (F): the book is in excellent condition. Closer examination will show evidence of ownership and/or storage. There may be a small inscription or the name of a previous owner. Generally the book will be in near perfect condition. A fine dustwrapper will also be in excellent condition with very slight rubbing at the corners.
VERY GOOD (VG): slightly less than fine condition but still acceptable to many collectors - the book may have minor faults such as slight fading or foxing, minor bumps or wear but there are no major faults. A VG dustwrapper will be without tears or chips. It will be clean and bright. There may be slight rubbing to corners and edges.
GOOD: the book will be obviously second-hand and well used but will be complete in all respects unless otherwise described. A good dustwrapper will be fairly clean, but may be creased or marked. The edges may be rubbed and worn and may have small tears.
