BTW wordt niet vermeld (Margeregeling) Verzendkosten zijn voor rekening van de koper. Vooruitbetaling kan worden gevraagd. Bij zendingen buiten Nederland dient altijd vooruit te worden betaald. Bij betaling achteraf svp binnen twee weken. U ontvangt na uw bestelling een email met de totale kosten. Een nota wordt altijd meegezonden. Koper heeft het recht het geleverde zonder opgaaf van redenen binnen 14 dagen terug te zenden. Kosten van de retourzending zijn voor rekening van de koper. Bij wanprestatie van de verkoper worden de kosten geheel vergoed. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender. Full black moroccan leather binding, 12° duodecimo edition. Spine professionally restored. Some wear and scratches on the binding but still very decorative. One of the earliest edition of this famous work of De Voltaire.According to G. Barber there are 17 editions of Candide printed in 1759, all with the same title. After his breakup with Frederick II (1754), Voltaire set up house near Geneva where the Cramer brother became his primary printers. Hoping to make a profit on their first edition of each new work, these booksellers sent copies throughout Europe; counterfeiters their began their work. This is most likely a pirate copy dated 1759.A fascinating item that speaks to the economics and competitiveness of the early modern book trade, especially with respect to counterfeits and forgeries. When Voltaires Candide was first published in 1759, the work achieved immense popularity in Europe despite broad condemnation from secular and religious leaders. To profit from the frenzy surrounding the workand the anonymity of its author (who had adopted the pseudonym Monsieur le docteur Ralph) many pirate copies have been published. Storende beschadigingen, aantekeningen, uitgebreide opdrachten etc. vermelden we doorgaans wel. Informeer bij twijfel naar de staat van het boek.
Verzenden Nederland
Brievenbuspost versturen we via PostNL.
Pakketpost versturen we standaard met DHL.
Andere verzendopties zijn mogelijk op aanvraag.
Voor alle verzendopties gelden de verzendvoorwaarden van het gekozen postbedrijf.
Mocht een verzending mislukken door toedoen of nalatigheid van de ontvanger (denk bijvoorbeeld aan het niet tijdig ophalen van een pakket bij een afhaalpunt) dan zijn voor een volgende verzendpoging opnieuw verzendkosten verschuldigd.
