Postage and packing is charged at cost and is in addition to the quoted price.
Any order is subject to our normal terms of business, whereby title to any goods does not transfer from the seller until payment is received in full, and is made under English law.
Methods of payment accepted:
Overseas customers: We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), US dollar check, PayPal, or international money order made out in UK sterling, money order in US dollars, money order in euros
UK customers: We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, or cheque.
Return policy;
We run a 'no quibble' returns policy.
If we have made any error of collation or missed any significant flaw, or if we have failed to describe the condition honestly and accurately, we refund the cost of the book in full, plus the cost of outward shipping, plus the cost of your return shipping.
If you wish to return a book for any other reason, We refund the cost of the book, less a £5 handling charge. The cost of outward shipping is not refunded. The return shipping, and insurance, is at your expense.
In all cases, the returned book must be in our hands within one calendar month of the original sale, though exceptions can be made to this rule in special cases.
Any new damage suffered by the book will be charged pro-rata.

* Conditions of sale *
All books are complete and in good condition, unless otherwise stated. We aim at an adequate description of the items. In most cases small defects (s.a. ex-library plate, owners entry) will be stated. More severe damages or annotations/underlinings will allways be stated.
Prices are net, shipping costs are excluded (for some tariffs see above). On delivered books margin-scheme is applied (VAT will not be stated on the receipt or invoice). On all items VAT is included in the price.
Books will be sent after payment . In some cases payment can be fulfilled upon delivery (libraries, institutions, etc.).
Each purchase can be returned within 10 days after delivery (we highly appriciate a notification in advance). Purchase price will be refunded, excluding shipping costs
If the returnshipping is the result of an inadequate description, the complete amount of purchase will be refunded. Please note that the items will be returned to us in the same condition as we shipped them. Returnshipping is explicitly at the risk of the buyer!
* Payment options *
Prefered method of payment (both domestic and within EURO-zone) is a banktransfer through IBAN/BIC (no additional charge). Customers of Non-Euro-zone-countries can pay via Mollie Payments (a.o. Creditcards with secure payment link) or via PayPal. Payments via PayPal will be charged with an additional charge of c. 5%.

* Verkoopvoorwaarden *
Alle boeken zijn compleet en verkeren in goede staat, tenzij anders beschreven. Gestreefd wordt naar een adequate beschrijving van de aangeboden boeken. In de meeste gevallen worden kleine gebreken, zoals een ingeplakte ex-libris of een naam op het schutblad in de beschrijving vermeld. Grote(re)beschadigingen en/of onderstrepingen/aantekeningen in een boek worden altijd vermeld.
Prijzen zijn exclusief verzendkosten (zie globaal overzicht hierboven). Op de geleverde boeken is de margeregeling van toepassing (d.w.z. op de eventueel meegezonden factuur wordt geen BTW vermeld). Alle bedragen zijn inclusief BTW.
Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Voor bibliotheken, instellingen en collega-boekverkopers kan in de regel op rekening worden geleverd.
Elke aankoop kan binnen tien dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld). Waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (zonder verzendkosten) volgt.
Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto terugbetaald. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender
* Betalingen *
Betaling kan geschieden via een IBAN-bankoverschrijving of een beveiligde betaallink van Mollie (o.a iDeal, Bancontact, Sofortbanking). Voor klanten buiten de Euro-zone kan het beste worden betaald via Mollie (o.a.Creditcard met beveiligde betaallink) of via PayPal (+ 5% extra op factuurbedrag)
