Orders are sent within 2 working days of receiving paypal payment or of UK£ cheques being cleared.

Delivery charges for parcels up to 1kg are as follows, additional charges may be requested for books weighing more than 1kg:
UK addresses (1-3 business days) - £4.50
UK addresses (2-5 business days) - £3.50
European Union priority (5-12 business days) - £18.00,
European Union standard (8-3020 business days) - 12.00
USA priority (5-15 business days) -£24.00
USA standard (10-20 business days) - £12.50
Rest of the world (10-15 business days) - £25.00
Rest of the world (10-30 business days) - £18.00

Orders for books weighing less than 1 kg will generally be processed on receiving your order. For heavier items we will contact you for your agreement to delivery charges before processing your order. Multiple orders are packaged to minimise delivery charges where possible.
Your agreement to a charge for additional insurance may be sought on purchases of higher value or if the order is to be delivered to a different address other than the ordering address.

Returns on books that are not as described are made if returned within 14 days of receipt. It is essential that customers e-mail or phone us to discuss the return prior to the return being posted. Returns on books that are as descibed but on receipt are not wanted by the customer may be allowed, contact us as soon as possible if you wish to return on this basis, the buyer will be responsible for the costs of returning the item(s).

All items are offered subject to prior sale.
Postage and packing is charged at cost and is in addition to the quoted price.
Any order is subject to our normal terms of business, whereby title to any goods does not transfer from the seller until payment is received in full, and is made under English law.
Methods of payment accepted:
Overseas customers: We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), US dollar check, PayPal, or international money order made out in UK sterling, money order in US dollars, money order in euros
UK customers: We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, or cheque.
Return policy;
We run a 'no quibble' returns policy.
If we have made any error of collation or missed any significant flaw, or if we have failed to describe the condition honestly and accurately, we refund the cost of the book in full, plus the cost of outward shipping, plus the cost of your return shipping.
If you wish to return a book for any other reason, We refund the cost of the book, less a £5 handling charge. The cost of outward shipping is not refunded. The return shipping, and insurance, is at your expense.
In all cases, the returned book must be in our hands within one calendar month of the original sale, though exceptions can be made to this rule in special cases.
Any new damage suffered by the book will be charged pro-rata.

Payment
We accept payment by credit card; i.e.: Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, Switch or Delta. If you wish to pay by cheque the payment needs to be in GBP(£)- UK Sterling. If payment is in any other currency an extra £12.00 needs to be added to the list price to cover our Bank's conversion charges.
Please ensure that we have your card number, expiry date and name and address that pertains to the card. We will also need the 3 digit code from the reverse of your card. Customers will realise that credit card payments are processed at this end in UK pounds sterling and debited to their own accounts at the current rate of exchange.
Return of goods
Every care has been taken with the description of all books listed. However if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. You may return the books promptly for a full refund of the invoice value. We must insist you contact us immediately to let us know of your intentions.
Postage
Postage will be charged extra; for both home and abroad deliveries.
For considerations of time and safety, please contact us. All books are checked, and carefully packed before despatch.
Packages sent to U.K. addresses will go first-class unless otherwise agreed.
Packages sent overseas can be sent by surface-mail or airmail.
If packages are sent via airmail, the package can be insured at the customers expense. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

If you are dissatisfied for any reason, return your purchase within 7 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. US shipping via Media Mail (4-21 days) is USD $3.00, Priority (1-3 days) is USD $6.00.
Most shipments outside of the United States can be sent via Global Priority for USD $14.50 and will arrive at most destinations in about 7 days.
Heavy books will require additional postage. Please inquire if you require overnight or other expedited shipping.

Taxes:
Sales tax at the current rate will be charged to Massachusetts rsidents.

* All books are in good condition, unless otherwise stated. Negligible defects, which can be considered normal for used or antiquarian books, are not always mentioned.
* We inform you in advance by email about the costs of handling and about the total amount you have to pay.
* Payment in advance is requested.
* Prices are in Euro and net, postage is extra at cost.
* Any item can be returned within 7 days of receipt, a prior email notification is requested.

* Alle boeken zijn compleet en tenminste in goede staat. Kleine gebreken, zoals naam op schutblad of lichte beschadigingen die normaal zijn voor gebruikte boeken, zijn niet altijd aangegeven.
* Prijzen zijn netto, in euro en inclusief BTW. Verzendkosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend.
* U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email
* Na betaling worden de boeken zo snel mogelijk verzonden.
* Betaling kan via bank- of giro-overschrijving.
* Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen - in uitzonderingsgevallen - te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper. Overigens wordt in deze gevallen eerst contact opgenomen met de koper.
* Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour worden gezonden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt.
* Is de retourzending het gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is voor de afzender.
