All items are offered subject to prior sale. Any contract arising from an order is made under British law. Title to any goods does not transfer from the seller until payment is received in full. Unless instructed otherwise all dispatches will be insured for all risks.
Methods of payment accepted: PayPal; IBAN; Cheque drawn in Sterling; Cash by Registered Mail
Return policy: Any items held to be unsatisfactory may be returned within 7 days of receipt, providing such returns are notified to us in advance.

All books are as described, though small issues common to old and antiquarian books (discolourations, etc.) are not noted. For American buyers: Please note that we do not have PayPal or Creditcard payment options.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Welkom bij Antiquariaat de Alkenaer.

Alle boeken zijn in goede staat tenzij anders beschreven. Kleine gebreken zoals een verkleuring of gebruikssporen die eigen zijn aan tweedehands boeken worden (meestal) niet beschreven.

Wanneer er in de omschrijving NB: pakketpost/large package staat vallen deze in het tarief voor pakketpost, dat binnen Nederland €6,75 bedraagt en voor verzending naar het buitenland hoger uit kan vallen.

U kunt in dit geval kijken of u nog enkele boeken in ons assortiment ziet die u er bij wilt nemen. U bespaart dan op de verzendkosten. Naast de verzendkosten wordt per bestelling ook €0,26 aan kosten (btw, verpakking, e.d.) in rekening gebracht.

Antiquariaat de Alkenaer verleent geen collegiale korting.

Naast ons aanbod op internet kunt u ook kijken bij onze winkel op het Ritsevoort in Alkmaar. Vragen over boeken in de winkel dient u per telefoon aan dhr Oyevaar te stellen binnen de openingstijden. (di,wo,vr,za v.a. 11:00)

All books are complete and in good condition, unless otherwise stated. Some wear and small defects like a name on an end paper, a few underlining, usually are not mentioned.

Orders: Prices are in Euro; handling charges and VAT incl.
Bank costs and postage are not included in prices. Books can be ordered by E-mail or telephone. We will reply to confirm availability of the book and the costs. The books will be reserved for 14 days awaiting full payment, unless otherwise agreed.
After this period the reservation will be cancelled. The property of the goods does not pass on purchaser until the invoice has been paid in full.

Payment: Customers are kindly requested to pay by bank, giro, Paypal, Visa or Mastercard.
All complaints within one week after receiving the books. Items that do not meet expectations returnable within 7 days of receipt and your payment will be refunded, less shipment costs.

Shipment: Postage is not included in the price as shown on our site.
Please state your wishes together with your order otherwise we will send by surface class

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Alle boeken zijn complete en tenminste in goede staat. Kleine gebreken, zoals naam op schutblad of lichte beschadigingen die normaal zijn voor gebruikte boeken zijn niet altijd aangegeven.
Prijzen zijn netto, in euro en inclusief BTW. Verzendkosten bank en chequekosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend.. U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email.
Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan eventueel met factuur worden geleverd.


Betaling kan geschieden via bank- of giro overschrijving, via Paypal en met Visa en Mastercard.
Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden.
Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper.
Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor na overleg met de koper de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voorvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper.
Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour worden gezonden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt.
Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten en retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan de koper werden verzonden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.

SHIPPING RATES
Within New Zealand (per order/ parcel) NZ $10.00 tracked parcel post or courier. Rural Delivery surcharge is extra if required for your address location.
Australia NZD $20 to $40 by weight under 1kg.
Anywhere else NZD $40 to $60 by weight under 1kg.
HEAVY ORDERS.
These will incur extra fees if weight over 1kg.
TERMS OF SALE
-Buyer is responsible for any import duties, customs fees or regulatory paperwork etc.
-Payment in advance of shipping by Paypal (includes credit card), Bank Transfer, or cash locally. International Bank Transfers accepted with NZ $12 bank fee added to invoice, for orders of NZD $250 or more then this fee is waived. For New Zealand buyers we request direct bank deposit only please.
INSURANCE
-Insurance included in postal charge.
RETURNS POLICY
-Books received which are markedly different from the description, or damaged in transit, may be returned within 7 days locally or 30 days internationally for a full refund of the book cost, less shipping, after prior agreement with the seller. Please make no returns until we have agreed on a remedy to the situation.
-All orders shipped by air mail with up to 4-6 weeks to international destinations outside New Zealand. Prices in New Zealand Dollars.
