A very scarce copy. A discussion of the recently signed London Protocol of 1852, an international treaty which affirmed the integrity of the Danish federation and where duchies of Schleswig (a Danish fief) and Holstein and Lauenburg (German fiefs) were joined by personal union with the Kingdom of Denmark. Together with a second edition printing of 'Denmark and the Duchies', with notes on the assassination of the Sultan, Austrian occupation of the Duchies etc.Written by David Urquhart, a British diplomat and politician. Throughout his own piece, he makes his opinion of this treaty known, renouncing it as a scheme to set aside the Danish succession and aligning it with his notably anti-Russian views. We send all our books on approval and we gladly accept returns for any reason in like condition within 30 days of purchase.
We now post only via DHL as weight for weight it is a very similar cost to recorded mail, but is fully tracked and much more reliable. This gives next day delivery to places as far afield as New York. Price is based on an average book weighing 1kg. if your book is very light it may be less, or more for sets and the like that are heavier.

Verkoopvoorwaarden
Al onze boeken zijn in goede tweedehands staat, tenzij anders omschreven. Kleine onvolkomenheden (zoals naam op titelblad of kleine leessporen) worden niet altijd vermeld. Storende beschadigingen, aantekeningen, uitgebreide opdrachten etc. vermelden we doorgaans wel. Informeer bij twijfel naar de staat van het boek.
Verzenden Nederland
Brievenbuspost versturen we via PostNL.
Pakketpost versturen we standaard met DHL.
Andere verzendopties zijn mogelijk op aanvraag.
Voor alle verzendopties gelden de verzendvoorwaarden van het gekozen postbedrijf.
Mocht een verzending mislukken door toedoen of nalatigheid van de ontvanger (denk bijvoorbeeld aan het niet tijdig ophalen van een pakket bij een afhaalpunt) dan zijn voor een volgende verzendpoging opnieuw verzendkosten verschuldigd.
Verzenden buitenland
Bij verzending naar het buitenland kiezen we per geval de beste verzendmethode. Verzending met onder andere PostNL, DHL, Kiala en DPD is mogelijk. Kopers met een voorkeur voor een verzendbedrijf/methode kunnen die melden.
We brengen geen extra verpakkings- of administratiekosten in rekening.
Betaling
Wij vragen betaling vooraf; verzending volgt zo spoedig mogelijk na ontvangst betaling.
