Chiddingfold: W.H. Luck, 1931. First publication of the Chiddingford Guide and Directory, published by the local postmaster Mr W.H.Luck. His foreword suggests "applications for advertising space in the next issue should be made before March 1st, 1932". The booklet gives a brief history of the Surrey village including during the English Civil War, as well as local information and street directory of inhabitants. Pp.47, 3 black & white photo illustrations, slight toning to pages, pp.31/32 has been removed, rusting to staples causing staining to inner margins. We accept payment by credit card; i.e.: Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, Switch or Delta. If you wish to pay by cheque the payment needs to be in GBP(£)- UK Sterling. If payment is in any other currency an extra £12.00 needs to be added to the list price to cover our Bank's conversion charges.

Return of goods
Every care has been taken with the description of all books listed. However if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. You may return the books promptly for a full refund of the invoice value. We must insist you contact us immediately to let us know of your intentions.

Packages sent to U.K. addresses will go first-class unless otherwise agreed.
Packages sent overseas can be sent by surface-mail or airmail.
