All items are offered subject to prior sale.
Postage and packing is charged at cost and is in addition to the quoted price.
Any order is subject to our normal terms of business, whereby title to any goods does not transfer from the seller until payment is received in full, and is made under English law.
Methods of payment accepted:
Overseas customers: We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), US dollar check, PayPal, or international money order made out in UK sterling, money order in US dollars, money order in euros
UK customers: We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, or cheque.
Return policy;
We run a 'no quibble' returns policy.
If we have made any error of collation or missed any significant flaw, or if we have failed to describe the condition honestly and accurately, we refund the cost of the book in full, plus the cost of outward shipping, plus the cost of your return shipping.
If you wish to return a book for any other reason, We refund the cost of the book, less a £5 handling charge. The cost of outward shipping is not refunded. The return shipping, and insurance, is at your expense.
In all cases, the returned book must be in our hands within one calendar month of the original sale, though exceptions can be made to this rule in special cases.
Any new damage suffered by the book will be charged pro-rata.

Payment
We accept payment by credit card; i.e.: Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, Switch or Delta. If you wish to pay by cheque the payment needs to be in GBP(£)- UK Sterling. If payment is in any other currency an extra £12.00 needs to be added to the list price to cover our Bank's conversion charges.
Please ensure that we have your card number, expiry date and name and address that pertains to the card. We will also need the 3 digit code from the reverse of your card. Customers will realise that credit card payments are processed at this end in UK pounds sterling and debited to their own accounts at the current rate of exchange.
Return of goods
Every care has been taken with the description of all books listed. However if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. You may return the books promptly for a full refund of the invoice value. We must insist you contact us immediately to let us know of your intentions.
Postage
Postage will be charged extra; for both home and abroad deliveries.
For considerations of time and safety, please contact us. All books are checked, and carefully packed before despatch.
Packages sent to U.K. addresses will go first-class unless otherwise agreed.
Packages sent overseas can be sent by surface-mail or airmail.
If packages are sent via airmail, the package can be insured at the customers expense. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Postage and packaging: is charged at cost. All items are posted 1st class / International Tracked. All our packaging is fully recyclable and plastic free.
Unfortunately due to the new shipping regulations that have a significant cost attached we do not ship to Germany or France.Sincere apologies for any inconvenience.


Refunds: will be given if book is not as described, but contact us first via email or telephone.

Book Condition: In common with other booktraders we use the following abbreviations to describe books:
Fine: as new.
VG: one or two signs of having been read, but no serious blemishes, generally very good condition.
Good: o.k., but not very good, signs of ageing or fading or other damage (usually described).
Fair: showing definite signs of wear and tear.
Reading copy: It's all there and it's legible, but that's about all we guarantee.
DJ: dust jacket (if it's not mentioned there isn't one).

Catalogue descriptions are necessarily very brief. Please do contact us should you want further details of any book before purchase, or for advice on our stock.

Terms of sale for customers outside the Netherlands:
- Each order will be confirmed with specification of costs.
- Books are in octavo size, complete, and in very good or better condition, unless otherwise noted. Pictures (if not already available) can be provided on request.
- Prices are in € (euro).
- Payment can be made via Paypal or by international bank transaction (IBAN/BIC). Paypal or bank details will be given after ordering.
- Shipping. Orders not exceeding 3 kg or 6.5 lbs are sent by registered priority mail: Europe EUR 11.00, outside Europe EUR 20.00 (U.S.A. EUR 37.50). Orders above 3 kg or 6.5 lbs are sent by registered parcel post via priority mail. FREE REGISTERED SHIPPING for orders from EUR 250 (European destinations) or EUR 400 (outside Europe) if not exceeding 3 kg or 6.5 lbs., above by arrangement. Average weight of an octavo sized hardcover is 1 kg or 2.2 lbs.
- Books may be returned well packaged and postpaid within two weeks of receipt, after notification by email.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Verkoopvoorwaarden voor Nederlandse klanten:
- De boeken verkeren in goede en degelijke staat, tenzij anders beschreven.
- Bestellingen bij voorkeur per bestelformulier, of anders per e-mail of telefonisch (voor een snelle afhandeling graag boeknummer vermelden!). Indien via Internet wordt besteld, volgt een bevestiging per email met opgave van de verzendkosten. Tarieven volgens PostNL (brievenbuspost EUR 4,60 pakketten dikker dan 3,2 cm of zwaarder dan 3 kg EUR 8,00). GEEN PORTOKOSTEN VOOR BESTELLINGEN BOVEN EUR 100,00.
- Bestelde boeken worden binnen enkele dagen opgestuurd. Betaling per (meegestuurde) acceptgiro, voor grotere bestellingen in overleg voor nieuwe klanten (vooruitbetaling op onze bankrekening of via Paypal). Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van Charbo's Antiquariaat totdat volledige betaling is ontvangen.
- Mocht een toegestuurd boek niet aan de verwachtingen voldoen, dan geldt binnen veertien dagen na ontvangst een retourrecht. Neemt u in zo'n geval altijd eerst even contact op over de te volgen procedure.
- Registratie klantgegevens. Persoonlijke (adres)gegevens worden uitsluitend t.b.v. verwerking van bestellingen en administratie bij Charbo's Antiquariaat gebruikt. Deze gegevens zullen op geen enkele wijze aan derden ter beschikking worden gesteld, anders dan aan de verzender (PostNL). Voor maximale beveiliging binnen Internet kan het beveiligde bestelformulier van Antiqbook worden gebruikt.

We accept foreign cheques in all currencies, and international money orders (the latter in US or Canadian dollars), and interac e-transfers within Canada. Credit cards accepted through PayPal.

Postal charges vary considerably by weight and destination, and are quoted *at cost*; there are no extra "handling" fees.

Books are offered if unsold. We try to describe the state of the books precisely. Minor defects such as a name on first page, ex libris stamp, minimal wear or annotations are not always mentioned.
Orders can be done via e-mail (info@thelandofnod.be), not by telephone.
If you wish to pick up a book please send us an e-mail.
Prices are net, in EURO and free of VAT (margin arrangement). Packaging and shipping are at customers charge. The customer will always be informed by email about charges, total amount to pay and payment method.

For countries which are not member of the European Community we accept PAYPAL.
We do not accept credit cards or cheques.
Books must be paid in advance. Ordered books remain our property until payment has been received. Shipment is at our risk.
All books can be reshipped by the customer to us within 14 days after receipt, without specified reason. We will then pay back the price of the books, not shipping costs.
If the ordered books do not match the specified description, they may be reshipped within 14 days after receipt, after prior notice. In this case we pay back the price of the books and shipping costs. The risk by reshipment of books are for the sender. Reshipped books must reach us in the state they were sent to the customer.

Verkoopvoorwaarden

Boeken worden aangeboden mits onverkocht. De boeken worden zoveel mogelijk beschreven. Kleine gebreken, zoals naam op het schutblad, minimale aantekeningen of lichte beschadigingen die normaal zijn voor gebruikte boeken zijn niet steeds aangegeven.
Bestellingen worden per email (info@thelandofnod.be) geplaatst, niet telefonisch. Wie een boek wenst op te halen bericht ons hiervan via e-mail.
Prijzen zijn netto, in EURO en btw-vrij (margeregeling). Verpakking- en verzendingskosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend. Via email wordt de koper geïnformeerd over de kosten, het totaal te betalen bedrag, en de betalingswijze.
Betaling kan gebeuren per overschrijving op onze BNP PARIBAS Fortis-rekening:

Landen die buiten de Europese Gemeenschap vallen kunnen met PAYPAL betalen.
Wij aanvaarden geen cheques en geen kredietkaarten.
Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan bibliotheken en overheidsintellingen kan eventueel met factuur worden geleverd. Bestelde boeken blijven onze eigendom tot de betaling werd ontvangen.
Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is op risico van de verkoper. De verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden doorberekend aan de koper. Elke aankoop kan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden, waarna terugbetaling van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendingskosten) volgt.
Is de retourzending een gevolg van onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten + retourporto gerestitueerd. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan de koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de verzender.
Bijkomende inlichtingen kunnen steeds bekomen worden per email.
