Following conditions of sale apply:

All books are complete and the condition of the book will be indicated as follows:
Fine = as new
Very good = no significant flaws
Good = small flaws (e.g.: slight damage to cover, name on title page, faded colors, yellowish pages, etc.)
Reasonable = clearly read and used copy (e.g.: heavy folds, underlining, creases, etc.)
If a book has the qualification 'reasonable' the flaws will always be described. For the qualification 'good' a description will be given if necessary.
Names on title pages will not be mentioned. If a book has the qualification 'fine' it will of course not have names or ex libris in it.

If the measures of the book are mentioned it will always be hight first and then width (in centimeters). Oblong for example will not be mentioned separately.

Prices are net and in euro's. Postage and bank- or check transfer costs will be charged at cost price. Before finalizing the order you will first receive an e-mail stating the total costs of the transaction.

Books will be delivered at payment in advance. For companies, libraries and regular customers separate arrangements can be made.

Payment can be arranged by giro-transfer.

Books delivered will remain the property of the seller until full payment has been received.

Sending of the ordered books is for the risk of the seller. Seller has the right to insure goods or to send them by registered mail. The sub sequential costs will be charged to the account of the buyer after consulting the buyer.

Each purchase can be returned to the seller within 14 days after reception, without explanation (an e-mail to notify the seller would be appreciated however), after which the billed amount (excluding postage costs) will be restituted to the buyer. If the buyer returns the goods to the seller because the description of the books is not conform the actual condition of the goods then the billed amount including the postage costs will be restituted to the buyer. Returned goods should be received by the seller in the same condition as when sent to the buyer. The risk of returning goods is for the account of the sender.


Verkoopvoorwaarden

Alle boeken zijn compleet en de conditie van het boek wordt als volgt aan geduid:
Gaaf = als nieuw
Zeer goed = geen noemenswaardige gebreken
Goed = lichte gebreken zoals: minimale leesvouwen, lichte beschadiging omslag, verkleuring, etc.)
Redelijk = duidelijk gelezen en gebruikt exemplaar (vouwen, onderstreping, schuingelezen, ezelsoren, etc.)
Als een boek de kwalificatie ‘redelijk’ heeft gekregen wordt altijd vermeld wat dan het gebrek is en bij de kwalificatie ‘goed’ wordt een omschrijving gegeven als dit nodig is.
Namen op schutblad worden niet vermeld. Bij een gaaf boek staat er vanzelfsprekend geen naam op het schutblad.

Als er maten genoemd worden dan altijd eerst de hoogte van het boek en dan de breedte. Oblong formaten worden dus niet apart vermeld.

Prijzen zijn netto en in euro. Porto en bank- en chequekosten worden tegen kostprijs doorberekend. U ontvangt vooraf een opgave van het totaalbedrag per email.

Boeken worden geleverd tegen vooruitbetaling. Aan instellingen, bibliotheken en bekende klanten kan eventueel op rekening worden geleverd.

Betaling kan geschieden via giro-overschrijving.

Geleverde boeken blijven eigendom van de verkoper totdat volledige betaling van het factuurbedrag heeft plaats gevonden.

Het verzenden van de bestelde boeken is voor risico van de verkoper. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. De kosten hieruit voortvloeiend worden na overleg doorberekend aan de koper.

Elke aankoop kan binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt. Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten en retourporto terugbetaald. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.

Unless otherwise stated books are in very good (antiquarian) state. Minor defects are not always mentioned. We accept payments by creditcard (VISA, Mastercard), PayPal and (within the EU) bank transfer. Prices are exclusive postage and insurance if applicable. Payment is due in advance. Books will be shipped within 2 business days after payment is received. Shipping rates may vary from those listed on Abebooks for very heavy/large or small books. We charge real shipping costs. Customers will be informed ahead on shipping costs and shipping methods (track & trace). An invoice will precede the sending. Recipients are responsible for contacting their local customs/brokers /postal/delivery offices in order to receive packages. Books can be returned within 14 days after receipt.

Prices are in Euro incl. VAT and excl. postage and encashment costs. Despatch will be executed at the best possible way, generally by standard postparcels. Air shipment only on client's request. Seller reserves the right to register or insure the parcel at buyer's expense. Shipment is at seller's risk.

Orders per e-mail, telephone or regular mail will be executed in sequence of arrival. You receive soonest possible a statement of the available books and the amount involved, including the costs. Despatch only by prepayment.

Books remain our property until full payment is received.

Prijzen zijn in euro, incl. BTW en excl. verzend- en bankkosten (indien van toepassing). Verzending geschiedt voor rekening van cliënt op zo voordelig mogelijke wijze, meestal per (pakket)post. Luchtpostverzending uitsluitend op aanvraag van cliënt. Verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor de goederen op kosten van koper te verzekeren en/of aangetekend te verzenden. Verzending is voor risico van verkoper
Bestellingen kunnen schriftelijk, per fax, e-mail of telefoon worden geplaatst en worden op volgorde van binnenkomst afgehandeld. U ontvangt zo spoedig mogelijk een opgave van de beschikbare boeken en de kosten. Levering geschiedt bij vooruitbetaling.
Betaling per giro- of bankoverschrijving. Visa- en Mastercardbetalingen kunnen geaccepteerd worden via PayPal.
Boeken die niet aan de beschrijving voldoen kunnen binnen een week na ontvangst en na voorafgaand overleg worden geretourneerd. Retourzendingen om andere redenen eveneens na voorafgaand overleg en binnen een week na ontvangst.
Boeken blijven ons eigendom tot volledige betaling is ontvangen.

- Kleine afwijkingen als netjes geschreven naam op schutblad en beperkt aantal potloodstreepjes in tekst worden niet altijd vermeld.
- Prijzen zijn in Euro’s en inclusief BTW.
- Verzendkosten zijn voor rekening koper. Bestellingen boven 100 Euro worden binnen Nederland franco verzonden. Tussen 50 en 100 Euro wordt binnenslands de helft van de portokosten berekend. Zendingen naar het buitenland genieten een evenredige korting op de porti.
- Boeken worden in de regel pas verstuurd na ontvangst van de verschuldigde gelden.
- Boeken die niet aan de verwachting voldoen kunnen binnen 8 dagen geretourneerd worden. Restitutie van de betaling volgt direct na ontvangst van de retourzending.
- Restitutie van de portokosten vindt slechts plaats bij aantoonbaar onjuiste boek-beschrijving.

Books are sold net plus a min. $7.99 s&h. Typically, my books are heavier or larger than standard books, and most orders ship at cost + $4 for handling and supplies. I use the United States Post Office for all my shipping. I extend 10% trade discount.

I accept cash, money orders, PAYPAL, VISA, Mastercard, Discover as methods of payment. I also trade on occasion. I am able to extend credit to those institutions which desire to sell or trade duplicates and discards but are not allowed or able to accept cash payments for such material.

Books may be returned if not as described providing they enter the return mail-stream within seven (7) days of arrival and rejection by the customer. Booklets 16 pages and less are not returnable for any reason. Books returned to me outside of these conditions will not be refunded and will not be returned to the original purchaser until the same s&h charges that were originally charged are paid again to facilitate such return. This has only been an issues three times in 19 years, however.

Also, I maintain want lists in these areas, and conduct searches for any title my customers seek, whether in my field of expertise of not. I buy and sell collections and libraries of books in the topic areas listed above and offer collection development service. Books are available for viewing by appointment. I am located in the scenic Amish Country of Lancaster County, PA, 90 minutes from Philadelphia, 2 hours from Washington, DC and 4 hours from New York City.

Offers are non-binding. Prices are stated in EUROS. Invoices are due and
payable strictly net upon receipt. Orders are sent at the customer's
expense. Right of ownership is reserved until payment in full as per Section
455 BGB (German Civil Code). Place of fulfillment and legal forum for both
parties is Euskirchen.

RIGHT OF REVOCATION:
You can rescind your contractual declaration within one month in text form
(e. g. letter, fax, email) without having to state any reasons or by
returning the ordered item(s). The period commences upon receipt of this
legal information at the earliest. The deadline can be met by sending the
revocation or returning the ordered item(s).

You have bear the costs of returning the goods if the supplied goods are as
ordered and if the price of the goods to be returned is less than EUR 40.00.
Otherwise, returning the goods shall be free of charge for you. Items not
suitable for parcel post will be collected. You have to meet any obligations
to reimburse payments within 30 days from mailing your revocation.
