First edition in book form; 12 x 9; pp. [3], 4-14, [2]; textured yellow wraps, decorated with an elaborate vignette in black and tied with a decorative string; illustrated with numerous drawings of typographic ornaments; a bit of age-toning and a few minor spots to margins of wraps; closed cut to fore-edge of front wrap; small, previous owner's bookplate to ffep; overall in very good condition. Written by fellow author Dorothy Abbe, the book commemorated the work of William Addison Dwiggins (1880 - 1956) - renowned type designer, calligrapher, and book artist, remembered for his bold, ornamented, geographic, Art Deco-inspired work.
