Ex-Library, papered boards, split along front joint and starting to rear joint, chipping head and tail. corners rubbed through to card beneath, free end paper has assorted inscriptions and stamps ( not too untidy though) Colour frontis. The title is detached at lower half 223pp + 2 pp adverts remains of a pocket on rear paste down. 2 page map of Northern territory. I have noted the odd pencil tick or notation in the text and also at least two stamps at tail of pages, as well as the odd bit of foxing or soiling . This copy is however reasonably tight and tidy, notwithstanding the spine damage. Much true history of early Australian exploration set within a boys own adventure story. Good/No Jacket.
