This work, sometimes called 'Mémoires d'une Célèbre Fille Publique, ou, Aventures Galantes, Civiles, Politiques et Militaires de Pauline, depuis sa naissance jusqu'à ce jour' and other times referred to as 'Mémoires d'Une Célèbre Courtisane Des Environs Du Palais-Royal, ou, Vie Et Aventures de Mlle Pauline, Surnommée La Veuve de la Grande Armée', is considered to be a pastiche of Ida Saint-Elme's 'Memoirs of a Contemporary&apos. This work is attributed to Edouard d'Eliçagaray and Ãmile Marco de Saint-Hilaire. Undated, dated through copies held at the Hathi Trust Digital Library. In a half calf binding. Externally sound, with small losses to the marbled paper of the front board, now lifting. Rubbing to the spine and extremities. Leather to the rear upper corner is lifting.
