This is a Very Good Copy in soft cover wraps of the Funeral Service for Winston Churchill on the 30th January in 1965.The booklet is a little rubbed and creased to the covers and also to the internal pages of text.Sir Winston Churchill\'s funeral took place on January 30th in 1965.It began with a lying-in-state at Westminster Hall before a state funeral service was held at St Paul\'s Cathedral. The service was attended by dignitaries from over 110 countries, including the Queen. Following the service, his coffin was transported by a barge down the River Thames, then by a steam locomotive to be buried privately at St Martin\'s Church in Bladon, Oxfordshire.A 90-gun salute was fired as it passed Hyde Park, honouring his 90 years of life.A rather uncommon piece of rich and important Political History.It runs to 19 pages and measures 14cm by 19cm...[1965] published by Her Majesty\'s Stationery Office.
