The first four volumes, edited by David Frischmann, were published in Moscow. Following the suppression of Hebrew in Russia the editor moved to Warsaw, where he published vols. 5-15. After his death in 1922 he was succeeded by Y. Cahan and F. Lachower. Vols. 24-27 were published in Berlin, and ed. by B. Katz, S. Tschernikovski and S. Rawidowicz (1928-1930). Vols. 28-29 were edited by Y. Cahan and publ. in Tel Aviv (1936). Vols. 30-35, ed. by E. Silberschlag and A. Zeitlin, were publ. in New York (1946-1950). \'Ha-Tekufah is a treasure trove of Hebrew literature of all genres, including belle-lettres by many of the leading writers of the time\' (Enc. Jud. vol. 7, p. 1469). In the present set vols. 1-23 are available in the reissued edition, published in Warsaw and Berlin.
