This edition features opening BW plate portraits of Gustav Adolf, Crown Prince of Sweden (who would later become Gustav VI Adolf and serve as King from 1950-1973) and his second wife, Crown Princess Louise. A terrific genealogical resource that you\'ll need a magnifying glass to use. Text is in German. Beginning volume: The genealogical register of the noble patriciate in Nuremberg, which is composed and correctly compiled from the most reliable documents, purchase fiefs and Heyraths letters, collected grave inscriptions and precise information obtained from inside described counts-barons and noble houses in the present order. Second volume bound in rear of book: Genealogical registers of the noble families of Nuremberg from Praun, von Wölckern and the extinct Messrs Schlaudersbach. Compiled from the best documents, memorials and news and published as a contribution in the Biedermännische tables of the noble patriciate in Nuremberg. VG (Splits to vellum covers and vellum is missing from the spine, first volume lacks title page but is otherwise complete with several loose pages in beginning. Several pages have handwritten notes. Pages have age toning and light wear as expected with age but text is otherwise very clean and clear.
