Undated, Daily Mail Road Map of London dated (1931) from a copy held by the British Library. From numerous eminent cartographers, such as George Washington Bacon and John Bartholomew. In the original publisher's cloth and paper bindings. Externally, very smart with general shelf wear, resulting in subtle marking and discolouration and slight rubbing to spine tips. Bookplate to Philip's Pocket Map of London, stating text lacking "special Tape and Index for easy reference", resulting in publication as an "ordinary reference map of London". Internally, generally firmly bound. Bacon's Road-Atlas features removable maps but the surrounding binding is particularly tender. The odd small mark to maps, namely to Daily Mail Road Map of London, and a few closed tears, particularly along the folds.
