A  scarce pamphlet of St. Ivel cheese recipes, with only one copy held at Wellcome Library. In the original wraps. St Ivel is best known for its Lactic Cheese, which was first produced in 1901 by Aplin & Barrett, a Yeovil-based dairy company. It was heavily promoted, with claims of health-giving lactic cultures. This volume offers a selection of recipes incorporating the cheese, including salads, sandwiches, soups, pastries and other miscellaneous dishes. In the original wraps. Externally, with spotting and edge wear, with a chip to the front cover. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with spotting to the first and last couple leaves. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
