In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart, with a few light marks to the cloth. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Text to the spine is rubbed. Portrait of the author pasted to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few scattered spots.
