The first edition of this very scarce work. In the publisher's original cloth binding.With leaves of publisher's advertisements to the rear. This novel follows a student of Cambridge, Sydney Corbett, as he fulfils his last term. Along the way, we witness his yearning for his long-term friend Mary and the troubles he gets in with her family.James Blythe has a plethora of science fiction works credited to his name. He is best known for his Future War novels, in all of which Britain is pitted against Germany. He is also well-known for his supernatural novel 'A Haunted Inheritance&apos. In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing and bumping to the extremities, heaviest to the spine. Cloth to spine is also discoloured, with some markings. Bookplate of one R. W.
