This work is a very charming and interesting look at the life of the soldier, offering insight into the thoughts and feelings of him and those around him as he sets off, during battle, and on his eventual return home. Including the poems 'The Soldier's Dream' by Thomas Campbell, and 'After the Battle&apos. Published by W. S. Fortey. Undated, dated using Copac. In the original publishers paper wraps. Externally, smart. Light discolouration to the wraps due to their light colour. Very minor marking. Small chip to the extremities. Internally, the wraps have detached from the text block.
