First day cover bearing a pair of two-cent FDR stamps at upper right depicting the "Little White House" (Warm Springs, Georgia), cancelled there on 24 August 1945 and with "First Day of Issue" so stamped. Handsome engraved pictorial cachet at left. Signed boldly in ink by six famed American military officers: Mark W. Clark, Ira C. Eaker, Andrew J. Goodpaster, Matthew B. Ridgway, James A. Van Fleet and Albert C. Wedemeyer. A unique assemblage.
