Binding with some slight damage and use, small tear in top of spine, lower turn in damaged and partly missing, Interior fine , notwithstanding a small clear waterstain at some pages. Still a good and correct copy. ( Reliure en plein cuir d\'époque, petit déchirure dans le dos supérieur , qq. traces d\'usage de la reliure, Tranchefile en bas endomm. ; qq. légères traces d\'eau sur qq. pages. Encore un bon exemplaire en état correct). The book is divided in two parts. The first part \'\' Exercitatorii Vedastini\'\' explains and defines the liturgy and the rules of the abbey. The second part deals with the religious and spiritual concepts and ideas which can be used by the monks for their inner life. The Saint Vaast abbey in Arras was one of the main abbeys of the Southern Low Countries. Between 1556 - 1714 the region, with the city of Arras, belonged to the Southern (Spanish) Netherlands. Apparently very rare, no copy in a French library. One listing on OCLC ( U.B. Gent ) ( situation Oct. 2014). .
