Good hardback in Fair dust jacket First Edition. 1926 1st edition with B&W illustrations; tightly bound in blue cloth with black lettering to front and spine; spine slightly faded with greater fading to head and foot; faint dark spots to back panel. Dust jacket protected by removable clear sleeve; yellow sellotape stains to edges; losses to corners, especially of spine and front; pale discolouration. Page fore-edges yellowed and foxed. Internally, gift inscription on front free endpaper; author's signature in pencil has been cut out from thin card and adhered to title page; a little foxing to page edges, mainly of outer pages; otherwise, a good, tidy copy.
