Spine covered in brick-red cloth, which is splitting and frayed and marked with a call number. Edges of boards are stained and wearing through. Old markings on the endpapers, and foxing throughout. Binding is limp due to years of rough handling, but still holds well enough for reading purposes. The first edition of this famous 19th-century debate. Fair .
