Vasyl Melnyk (1899 - 1949), also known under the pseudonym Vasyl Limnychenko, was a Ukrainian priest, author, translator, and public figure. Towards the end of the Second World he immigrated first to Slovakia and then to Germany, where he lived and worked in Munich until his death. He wrote in a variety of genres - poetry, novels, drama, religious articles, and philosophical and journalistic works - the current book one of the latter. Very good .
