Antique Collector's Club, 1974. Antoine-Louis Barye was a sculptor and teacher of Rodin, who was a prime mover of the Romantic Movement in art. The main part of this book consists of a catalogue raisonne of the sculpture in which virtually all of Barye's works are recorded and almost all are illustrated, containing over 300 illustrations. 28cms x 22cms x 2cms. Pp.284, over 300 black & white photo illustrations. Cream marble patterned boars with gilt titles. Dustwrapper. VG/VG.

Return of goods
Every care has been taken with the description of all books listed. However if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase. You may return the books promptly for a full refund of the invoice value. We must insist you contact us immediately to let us know of your intentions.
