Extremely scarce in the field, comprising the first two volumes in the original, true First Edition state, published in London for the King and his subjects throughout the Commonwealth. Presented to him and to the Parliament by Command of His Majesty, February, 1901. Previous owner's inscription, neatly rendered, via ink-stamp, at title page. Original publisher's printed blue (front) wrap bound inside larger blue card stock wrap, the former being worn and chipped, the latter, only a bit sunned and mildly soiled. 146 pp. to Volume I, with despatches from diplomats, military officers, and politicians. Volume II is missing both original wraps and shows considerable chipping and fragility to rear endpapers. 138 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. . . . Good

I've done my best to state clearly and truthfully the condition of each and every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers, get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. Most orders will ship within one to two business days, but often times, they will go out on the same day as they are ordered. I've based my shipping costs on the assumption of books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized (extra thick, extra long, etc.), I may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Bubble mailers and boxes will be expertly and securely wrapped and monitored. Please contact us if there is anything extra or different you need us to do.

Return policy;
If for some reason you don't like your purchase or it arrives somehow damaged, or if it doesn't get to you at all, you might be eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
