Contians 39 black and white engraved illustrations plus two frontis and two decorated title-pages. Two coloured maps, Decorated Family Records pages are blank. Gilt block edges. Rear joint has been repaired with a black leather strip, roughly cut around bands, rear end-paper is missing. Significant wear to both spine-ends, binding is otherwise sound. Corners of covers are scuffed. Pages and plates are clean , occasionally light foxing in margins, title-pages are a little darkened with light smudges.
