A very good 1st Edition hardcover ("First published 1984" with British Library Catalogue information), in a near fine unclipped dustwrapper AND Booker Prize Band. The book is in clean green boards with sharp corners, slightly bumped spine ends with a tiny ding to the bottom front board. Internally without writing or stamps, unmarked pages very slightly toned and foxed to the upper text-block edge. The dustwrapper is a touch creased to the edges, and the bright band is a little rubbed to the flap fold and faded/creased to the centre of the spine - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve. A very nice tidy copy of a True 1st Edition. Carefully packaged and despatched within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland.; 75x75. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket .
